25.01.2022 Answer: Wolbachia-carrying mosquito eggs were released from Mar - Dec 2017. hosted the containers, adding food & water over 4-6 months. Adult #Wolbachia mosquitoes emerged & bred with wild Ae. aegypti mosquitoes until almost all Ae. aegypti in the trial areas carried Wolbachia. #RCT_Yogya

20.01.2022 In Southeast Asia and Latin America, there has been an alarming increase in the number of reported dengue cases lately. PAHO-WHO has reported 1,126,481 total dengue fever cases in the Americas in the first 15 weeks of 2020 compared to 939,000 cases in the same period last year. In Southeast Asian countries, the numbers up until June are equally concerning. 53,660 ( Indonesia), 26,857 ( Vietnam), 16,924 ( Thailand), 10,234 ( Singapore).... Its more important than ever to take precautions and to be aware of potentially dangerous symptoms.
