19.01.2022 If we can’t do our ride, we can at least raise awareness for our causes! We all know about the ‘social distancing’ advice from the Australian government for reducing the spread of Coronavirus. It’s 1.5 meters. It’s a set distance that helps our safety. Now, what does that remind us of, hmm? The NSW ‘Minimum Passing Distance’ rule for cars passing cyclists on the road!... The law requires a minimum 1m if driving less than 60km/h, or 1.5m if more than 60km/h. It’s a sensible rule that helps protect cyclists’ safety.
