25.01.2022 In response to the cancellation of ANZAC Day Services etc, most of us would have seen or heard about the suggestion for people to pause to honour the ANZACS at ...the end of their driveways instead of attending dawn services. Musicians have also been encouraged to get their instruments out to play the last post. Nads Henriks has put together a little ANZAC Day Service for people to use if they want. It has one hymn, the ode, the last post and rouse on it for people to follow if they want. Thanks Nads! See more

24.01.2022 A very special regular event in our Calendar. Jingle Bells will never be the same again as we played it on repeat for over 15 minutes while Santa made his way from the Fire Engine to the Stage.

22.01.2022 With the formal ceremonies for Anzac Day being cancelled the RSL have asked people to stand in their driveways at 6.00 am to take a minute’s silence. There has ...been a national suggestion that where possible, brass and any other musicians (regardless of instrument) stand in their driveway and play the Last Post and Reveille for their neighbours. Wodonga Brass players will support this event. See more

20.01.2022 Fortunately we have been picked up on a point of protocol, at the Anzac Day Dawn service we should play Reveille, at all time other times it is Rouse. 18.01.2022 A great night. Over 6000 in attendance plus a live radio broadcast on 1494 2AY. Special congratulations to Fenella O'Sullivan on her debut as our Musical Director at the Wodonga Carols. It was also the first time we had our own Wodonga Carols Choir led by Lauren Schmutter. Both our musical director and choral director developed special music arrangements of the traditional carols for their respective ensembles. A big thank you to all performers, ensembles and the 40+ organisations involved in this years very successful Wodonga Carols by Candlelight.

17.01.2022 Considering it was a working day it was great to be able to provide a reasonable size band for this important event.

08.01.2022 VALE - Neill Dailey It is with a sad heart that we inform you that Neil Daley has passed away in Canberra. Neil, who was 47, had been battling cancer for some ...time. Neill joined the band as a youngster and was Musical Director from 1995 to 1997. Our thoughts go out to his parents, Peter and Lorraine and family. The long term support provided by Neill and his entire family through out the years to the band will always be remembered. See more

06.01.2022 We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Musical New Year. A big thankyou to our Musical Director, Fenella O’Sullivan, for her persistence that we maintain our skills via Zoom and daunting ‘solos’ throughout the year. A thankyou also to Albury City Band who allowed us to use their NSW Band Hall to rehearse for Carols much earlier than what otherwise would have been possible. We hope you enjoy the result as you watch our clip and www.wodongacarols.org.

05.01.2022 One of our favourite numbers from the 2020 Wodonga Carols, Silent Night, performed by Craig Quilliam and Lauren Schmutter. This is simply a must watch!! 01.01.2022 A local employer asked a long term employee how they would like them to celebrate her 30 years of service. She jokingly replied a brass band would be good. With four days notice a surprise morning tea with a brass band playing was organised. The result was one very emotional employee on entering the room. Due to Covid 19 restrictions it was the first time we had played together in three months. We are also available for weddings, funerals and anything (so long as it is 100% Covid19 compliant).

01.01.2022 An important regular event in our Calendar. Congratulations to Jeremy Kerr on his first official role as our Deputy Musical Director. Whilst our performance commenced at 7:00am it was a great mornng and environment to perform in.
