24.01.2022 Spring has decided to surprise us

23.01.2022 One of the favourite elements of our job as builders is adding custom touches that express our clients’ personalities and taste. Throwback to this repurposed vintage vanity featuring a granite top by VGroupBendigo Accompanied by handmade look tiles and completed with black Meir Australia tapware this bathroom adds a contemporary touch to the traditional styled vanity.

23.01.2022 Did you know Daylesford is home to the first community-owned wind farm in Australia? Taking inspiration from community energy models in Denmark and Germany this windfarm helps power over 2000 homes with clean energy. Not bad for a small regional Victorian town!... Note: We’re not affiliated in anyway, just sharing another reason why we our community and love living in Daylesford. Ben Gardiner Photography

20.01.2022 Getting your kitchen design right is priority when building a new home. Here are our top 3 tips to designing the perfect kitchen: 1. Functionality Your kitchen must first and foremost serve it’s purpose. This is the work horse of the home for a kitchen to be functional it is important that your layout is intuitive and time saving.... 2. Durability Opt for materials that will stand the test of time, our recommendations here are to invest in stone benchtops, quality tiles or glass for the splashback and quality cabinetry. 3. Personality It’s your home, bring a sense of personality to the space by introducing some of your personal favoutre styles. A feature splashback or feature stone benchtop // CROCKETT ST Project

17.01.2022 Although on holidays a carpenter never truly switches off. Here is Steven admiring the Echuca wharf which has been restored using red gum and blackbutt posts. Originally built in 1865, being the 3rd largest port in Australia it was the main shipbuilding centre for the river transport industry. It turned over 240 paddle steamers a year and supported 8 saw mills. We're learning all about regional Victorian towns this trip!... Just a reminder that we will be back in the office from the 19th January, Tuesday.

16.01.2022 We could plan all we want but mother nature had other plans. The last few days have been challenging. As well as other Victorians our office is currently without power for the last 40 hours. With damaging 120km winds on Wednesday night, we were concerned about our building sites. After our team spent time clearing roads to get there, we were pleasantly surprised to find no damage. With work suspended due to unsafe environment - Steven has spent all day yesterday cleaning up neighbours' driveway from fallen trees. We are greatfull for our staff who have been working tirelessly today to clean up the roads and our own property and repair the damage caused fallen trees to fencing.

15.01.2022 Spring is finally here and we have some amazing news! We have been researching for some time, searching for the best way to offset and minimise our environmental impact within the building industry. We are thrilled to announce our new collaboration with Fifteen Trees... We are passionate about nature and as part of our carbon offset initiative we commit to donating one tree per square metre of build for all our new projects starting with our recently completed LOWE ST Project! On average we foresee planting roughly 303 trees per project. It’s one small step for our company and one giant impact for the environment.

15.01.2022 Do you remember earlier this month when we announced our commitment to a carbon offset initiative? In case you missed it, in collaboration with Fifteen Trees we will be donating one tree per square meter of build for each of our new projects. Today we received some very exciting news, our first round of 200 trees have been planted for our completed #16LoweProject and almost complete #34bricksdaylesford Not only do we get to track exactly where these trees have been plant...ed but we're also creating homes for the local wildlife! This is our step to minimising our environmental impact within the building industry. Read more here https://bit.ly/32ZpRzQ
