14.01.2022 Bring your scrap copper in before the law changes in December

13.01.2022 As of December 1st the Police Minister has introduced a new Copper Legislation. This legislation means that anyone who buyers Copper Alloys products must have a Second-Hand Dealers License & must comply with all requirements. This sounds technical or difficult but it isn’t for our customers. Our customers are just required to fill out Transaction form with one of our employees and provide 100 points of ID. After this comes the challenging part, Wolfram must store/ hold all Co...pper Alloy products for 14 days and wait to be given the all clear by the WA Police before we can start processing the scrap metal. This outcome will cause a lot of uncertainty in the copper markets the next few weeks, but at WMR we will ensure to give you the very best price possible. This new legislation is very new to all of us, we will maintain our great service and ensure there is no delays while you are recycling your scrap metal. We would like to thank everyone for your support and understanding the last few weeks while we were getting approved for the license.
