25.01.2022 Gus captured this image . I love that he has an interest in photography. And I love this image. This was taken about a month after the fires, it was the first day we actually just sat with the animals and stopped. It's amazing when you look at a pic, and you can remember little details. ... 25.01.2022 Two little humans. Placed in the same spot. Two completely different images. Light is a magical tool. Don't underestimate a photographer's abilities, while we may have amazing tools to work with. We still need to have a great understanding about the elements and how to make them work. I get bored easily, so I love to play with light as it is a forever changing element. ... I was washing the dishes here, when Gus stood on the table to watch the postie drop off the mail. Poor buggers then had to stay there while I experimented . This is the afternoon light bouncing of the window . My kinda light, it brings out the detail..... #captureallthemoments #family #light

24.01.2022 It was the weather for it today!! Sun Glorious Sun. Each step had a Spring . Bushgrove Stock Horses producing the goods this year. Everyone is happy and healthy .

20.01.2022 Liv scared the shitta out of me today. She was in a hell of a lot of pain and I couldn't fix her. (Right as rain now thanks for everyone's understanding in my slow replies etc...) When you hire a photographer to capture your moments in time it is magical. You cannot put a price on a capture especially when you are front and centre with your children or even someone special in your life...... Even your animals. I am sharing some of our family session, captured perfectly by ...Capture by Karen. Choose your photographer, not based on the price..... Please..... The reasons you choose are up to you. It's their style, their creativity, you feel a connection...... But most importantly, don't sit on the decision to hire a photographer. Do it. There will never be any regrets. We all grow. And sometimes it can be magical to look back. X

20.01.2022 I am about to share captures of two amazing families. But first...... I wanted to share this one . I am in love with this . ... A reminder when you have your photo taken, get it taken honestly. Don't push your kids to smile, don't try and get that "perfect shot". This right here!! This is the perfect shot!! I am so in love with this, it is just perfect. X

16.01.2022 Finally!! A day off the farm, pretty lucky as a little burst of winter arrived over night . I bellowed this morning to my little humans, we are getting all the editing finished off today .... So far we have cuddled many chooks, gone back to bed for hugs, books and boob. And now we are off to cook crispy bacon and eggs . Working with children in some ways not ideal but atleast they prioritise . So I will start by sharing my little poppy project . And hopefully end the day with some georgous humans .

15.01.2022 I am so lucky to have incredibly talented musical friends. I still remember this man tapping his tunes on the school desk tables, in the canteen line, school bus seats...... You get the drift...... Back when sharing the ear phones was cool, mixed tapes for the bus was on point and strumming a guitar at parties did make you cool . (is it still cool?? Should be!) Covid has had a damaging effect on the live music scene, so give them some energy and love. ... To all those in the music scene if you need shots, hit me up!! 14.01.2022 I have so many images of this Wonder Woman . A part of me wants to share them all!! But another part of me wants me to share them bit by bit to soak in that strong beauty. Usually my favourite images differ to the clients favourites. This is by far on of my favourites, it was taken towards the end, we basically had a cloudy sky all through the shoot. Then pop a ray of light came out just at the end. You may not see it here, but I do, It made Teegan and her wee man glow.... You see light doesn't necessary need to have that "golden glow". This to me shouts warmth, maybe a fraction different to that golden warmth. But to me this is the warmth I admire. A bold warmth. #takethosephotos #lovethatlight #thinkoutside #letsmixitup

11.01.2022 There is something so magical about a flower releasing it's goodness. Little flecks of yellow being picked up by the wind or carefully collected by a bee. Mother Nature is just the best .

08.01.2022 #AgDayAu I have so many images I could share...... But this one is by far my fav. You all know this farmer is my favourite. Everyday he amazes me with his forward thinking, his ability to build and fix just about anything, his strength to never stop working. But his best ability to date is being the best father to our kids . Even on the busiest days he will stop to listen, he is compassionate, caring and the best teacher for our children. ... Each and everyday you will enjoy a product that somewhere along the chain would have been touched by a farmer. Check out George the Farmer he has summed up #AgDayAU perfectly I think . And he has some ripper tools to educate kids on farming .

08.01.2022 Bath Time. This is usually a chaotic mess. Tonight my camera and my creativity captured that wonderful mess. I feel inspired, it feels so good to have the urge to capture these moments again. My camera feels so comfortable in my hands. Bliss. ... Capture EVERYTHING even if at the time it seems irrelevant. 06.01.2022 We scored a gig with Great Southern capturing some of the best beef in the Upper Murray. Those who know me, know I work with my children 95% of the time. I won't lie it can be difficult but at the same time, this was my dream to have my little humans by my side till they no longer need me . So here we are, capturing this fine beef eating our way through Zooper Doopers, asking 1 million questions, laughing, crying and living the dream. ... Thank you. X

04.01.2022 Sharing the bumps first. Because you all know I love a bump or two or three! These two ladies were just the best. Some of these images you wouldn't usually see or associate when capturing maternity shots. I love them!! They are different! They are strong! Outside the box! Thank you!! Tara and Sarah for letting me experiment, for allowing a touch of different. You have both absolutely rocked your bumps!! ... And yes..... I have overshared, but seriously why wouldn't I?! X

03.01.2022 This was a very hard decision to make....... Santa sessions are by far my fav . Watching these tiny little humans grow is just the best. And their own little interactions with Santa are priceless. This year would of been the biggest yet!! You are all so amazing, I have had enquiries for the two last months.... But...... I just can't do the squeeze this year. I'm used to juggling, I think I am actually pretty good at it. But this year, I want to spend time with my kids. Not that rushed time. I want that slow time, where you can soak them in. I know you will all understand. Money cannot buy back time with my kids. Covid has also helped the decision along. The unknown while things are looking good, organising and booking then cancelling would basically just be shit..... Time I cannot afford to waste. So for 2020 Santa and I will be a miss. But 2021 we will be back!! We will definitely miss you all and I hope all the new enquiries will book in for 2021. Thank you for your understanding and love. Xx

01.01.2022 I love this image, captured when we were taking the steers back from the yards. I drag my kids everywhere with me and Angus will leave me for school next year. He is an amazing, bright energetic kid. I will miss him incredibly. I love the long grass Muz sowed. I love the little reminder of the burnt in the background. And I love the hoodie he wears proudly. The image on his hoodie he named them the "Good Man's", these are the men he believes delivered our hay after the fires.... And he is right in some respect as the hoodie has come from The Coo-Wee RIDE a charity that Murray and I will never forget. Capturing a little moment like this, so in time I can show him just how much joy he always brings to me, to show him how incredibly hard his Dad works and to show him even in the darkest times there are always "Good Man's" out there. #capturethatmoment
