24.01.2022 Calling all Wollangarra musicians! As some of you may have heard, Wollangarra Open Day 2020 is moving into the verse of dot coms and face books, and the evening music is coming with it! (Tag your musical friends below) A much awaited part of the evening is the open mic, which we’d love to bring to the community online this year, and that’s where you come in!... If you have musical talent (or just a passion!) and feel comfortable sharing with the online Woll community, we’d love you to send us a video of you performing a song (or piece of music) of your choice. Please make sure the lyrics are appropriate for all ages, and that the audio and video are of a high quality. Let us know if you’re interested in preparing something asap, we’d love to hear your music! If you have any questions or need a hand with editing, shoot us a message here and we’ll do our best to help out!

Please feel free to send an old-fashioned letter in the mail to any of us at 3439 Licola Rd, 3858 Heyfield, VIC and we’ll work on a nice reply! . . . #penpalswanted #sharethelove
22.01.2022 CALL FOR DONATIONS As you probably know, these are strange times. One of the ways you can help Woll get through COVID, is to head over to our Global Giving page, and make a donation. If you have anything to spare, every bit helps. ... Through Global Giving, you also have the option to make either a once off donation, or recurring monthly donations. And, in case you missed it, our 2020 Open Day has moved online (wild!). Tickets only cost $30 (less for a concession), and when you buy a ticket you’ll be helping us be able to get up and running as soon as it’s COVID-Safe to do so.

11.01.2022 Wollangarra Outdoor Education Centre is seeking Director/s to start in 2021. The Wollangarra Director role is a once in a lifetime 2-3 year live-in position suited to either a couple or individual. The Director/s are the heart of our strong community for their time at Wollangarra, and each new person in the role brings with them new knowledge, experience and personality that adds to the vibrant Wollangarra story. Wollangarra prides itself on running high standard outdoor educ...ation programs that encourage care for natural spaces and others, foster community and gives young people purpose they can thrive on. As an integral member of our small community based around simplicity, the Director/s days are filled with hard work and a strong sense of purpose. This is a challenging, but immensely rewarding experience that enables Directors to have lasting impacts on the lives of young people and the staff they work with. This hands-on role is exciting, dynamic, varied and no two days are the same, but overall it centres around overseeing the running of our outdoor education programs for young people that are inspiring, safe and effective, training and managing a staff team, maintaining the Wollangarra homestead, facilities and equipment and administrative tasks. 07.01.2022 We’re sorry to say we’ve made the decision not to run any of our school or holiday programs for the remainder of the year. Instead, we’ll be spending the rest of this time tying up projects and doing our best to leave this place in a fantastic state for a (fingers crossed) fantastic 2021! This has been a VERY hard call to make, which is why it’s taken us so long, but we know that having a final call even though it’s a sad one is necessary. We miss you and hope to see you... out here in future we can’t wait to bring you back over the river on our beloved flying fox. As always, support in the form of donations, merch orders, letters and phone calls is so, so welcome (and you can still buy Open Day tickets to access all our fantastic content). As a sneaky side note, if you’re keen to enjoy beautiful Wollangarra in a more professional capacity, we’re currently hiring for Director(s)/Program Managers for 2021 and the application window is closing very soon!
