25.01.2022 Yesterday we all enjoyed our lunch at Kai Sun Mudgee! What a fabulous day!

24.01.2022 Today we were whisked away on a virtual excursion with author Mem Fox. We had an amazing insight into the amount of work that goes into writing a book. The kids really enjoy her enthusiasm and expectations as she read us her latest book I'm Australian too.

24.01.2022 Art is an expression of an individual person. It is allowing the student to use their creativity skills, being inspired by other artists and they can be an inspiration to someone else. There is no right or wrong when sketching your piece of artwork as this is about freedom, uniqueness, choice and enjoyment, it'll bring much happiness! - Renae (SLSO)

15.01.2022 Today we traveled to the home of Mr and Mrs Campbell to have a look at some Aboriginal art on their property. We were also lucky enough to have an Aboriginal elder ( Uncle David) join us to answer all our questions. This was a truly beautiful experience that I’m sure the children will remember for years to come.

14.01.2022 During yesterdays introduction to the Great Barrier Reef video conference, our students participated in a virtual dive into Reef Headquarters Aquarium's coral reef and Predator exhibits. Students had the opportunity to interact live with a scuba diver (Craig) while they learnt about the Great Barrier Reef. Students learned about the diversity of reef creatures, the adaptations they possess and the role they play within the reef community. The presentation also explored the inter-relationships between marine creatures, threats to the reef and ways we can all help protect and look after the Great Barrier Reef.

12.01.2022 Students have been training for next Friday's Small School's Athletics Carnival to be held in Mudgee. We hope the weather will be kind to us on the day!

07.01.2022 We are deeply saddened to inform you that yesterday the 13/3/19 we lost our beloved Mrs Bushy. Kay is been in integral part of Wollar Public School and the whole Small Schools community for many years. She had an amazing impact on all those she came into contact with and will be sorely missed by everyone. Kay was a passionate teacher who took the time to nurture and appreciate each student individually. We send our deepest condolences to the Bushnell family.

05.01.2022 Santa and his Elves came to visit the Wollar students! They have all being good and got a present off Santa!

03.01.2022 Congratulations to Cody for representing Wollar P.S at the Championships in Tamworth! Cody won 2nd in Boy Rider 8 years, 2nd Handler Round 1, 2nd Hack Round 1, 2nd Pleasure Round 1 and in Round 2 he won 3rd Hack, 2nd Handler and 2nd Pleasure!
