24.01.2022 When I was about 9 years old, I accompanied my father to the funeral of a friend of his, someone who I didn't even know. When we got there, I stayed in a corner waiting for the time to pass. Then a man approached me and said, 'Enjoy life kid, be happy because time flies. Then he passed his hand over my head and left. My father, before leaving, forced me to say goodbye to the dead person. When I looked in the coffin, I was horrified to see that the man in the coffin was the sa...me man who had just spoken to me! I was so traumatized I couldn't sleep properly. I had terrible nightmares. I was terrified of being alone. I couldn't sleep without a night light for many years. I saw many psychologists, endured much turmoil throughout my adolescent years. It got better as I aged, but I would still occasionally wake up screaming in fear. 20.01.2022 A nun was going to Chicago. She went to the airport and sat down, waiting for her flight. She looked over in the corner and saw one of those weight machines that tells your fortune. So, she thought to herself, I’ll give it a try just to see what it tells me. She went over to the machine and put her nickel in and out came a card that said, You’re a nun. You weigh 128 lbs., and you are going to Chicago, Illinois. She sat back down and thought about it. She told herself it ...probably tells everyone the same thing, but decided to try it again. She put her nickel in, and out came a card that read, You’re a nun. You weigh 128 lbs. You’re going to Chicago, Illinois, and you are going to play a fiddle. The nun said to herself, I know that’s wrong. I have never played a musical instrument a day in my life. She sat back down. From out of nowhere, a cowboy came over and set his fiddle case down next to her. The nun picked up the fiddle and started playing beautiful music. Startled, she look back at the machine and said, This is incredible! I’ve got to try it again! Back to the machine she went, put her nickel in, and another card came out. It said, You’re a nun, you weigh 128 lbs., you’re going to Chicago, Illinois, and you’re going to break wind. Now, the nun knew the machine was wrong. I’ve never broken wind in public in my whole life! Just then, she tripped, fell off the scales and broke wind. Stunned, she sat back down and looked at the machine. She said to herself, This is truly unbelievable! I’ve got to try it one more time. She went back to the machine, put her nickel in and collected the card. 17.01.2022 Dr Jurds Jungle Juice Christmas Cake Once again this year, we’ve had requests for our Dr Jurds Jungle Juice Christmas Cake recipe, so here goes. Please keep in your files as we are beginning to get tired of typing this up every year! (Made ours this morning!!!!) 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 cup water, 1 tsp. salt , 1 cup brown sugar, Lemon juice, 4 large eggs, Nuts, 1......bottle Dr Jurds Jungle Juice, 2 cups dried fruit. Sample a cup of Jungle Juice to check quality.... Take a large bowl, check the Jungle Juice again to be sure it is of the highest quality then repeat. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point, it is best to make sure the Jungle Juice is still OK. Try another cup just in case. Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 eegs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Pick the fruit up off the floor, wash it and put it in the bowl a piece at a time trying to count it. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit getas stuck in the beaterers, just pry it loose with a drewscriver Sample the Jungle Juice to test for tonsisticity. Next, sift 2 cups of salt, or something. Check the Jungle Juice. Now shit shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Don't forget to beat off the turner. Finally, throw the bowl through the window. The agent verbally explodes saying, Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me. Reaching into his rear pant pocket and removing his badge. The officer proudly displays it to the farmer. See this badge? This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish, on any land. No questions asked or answers given. Have I made myself clear? Do you understand? The old rancher nods politely and goes about his chores. Later, the old rancher hears loud screams and spies the agent running for his life and close behind is the rancher’s bull. With every step the bull is gaining ground on the agent. The agent is clearly terrified.
