22.01.2022 Term 3, done and dusted ! It was challenging, it was emotional, it was exhausting but with the support of our amazing school and each other we made it through another crazy Term. Thank you to the amazing staff at WPS! Enjoy your well earned rest. Term 4 I know is your favourite time of year . ... Today was a cracker ! The kids looked amazing, the sausage sizzle was a hit! The muffins (thanks Nick) and the fruit. (Thanks Farmer Charlie’s) made the sausage sizzle so much better! The smiles on everyone’s faces was gold! But Miss Runge has done an amazing job and attached is an order form, some pictures of what’s on offer including the prices and when each class can order or go in and make a wish list.... It’s casual clothes day and All other events for the day will still be going ahead. Refunds will be arranged for the ride passes of children in year 6 or who are not returning to the school in 2021. I’m still amazed out how our children have adapted so well to the challenges and constant changes they have had in 2020. What amazing little humans they are.... 06.01.2022 What a year ! The 2020 school year has come to an end and I’m sure it will be year that we will talk about for a very long time. It has been a year of constant changes, of learning to adapt to new situations, of finding new ways to support each other and our children. It’s been a long year but we made it. ... Thank you to the amazing all the staff at WPS. You have had to face some huge challenges and make so many changes throughout the year. We can’t thank you enough for what you have done for our children in 2020. To the beautiful children of Wollongbar, enjoy your holidays. You all have done incredibly well in a very tough year. 02.01.2022 Today the Government made some more changes to our schools. It’s not what we had hoped but it has been done to keep our Teachers, SAS Staff, students, our families and the community safe. Please find below a letter which will explain the changes and what we must do to help keep everyone safe. If you are struggling in these ever changing times please reach out. They made some great choices that all meet the Healthy Canteen Strategy. This week we will finalise the exact menu and pricing.
