22.01.2022 EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT, KEEP READING!! Hi Everyone, Wow, what a year 2020 is turning out to be. ... It has been 181 days since the Club was forced to close due the current pandemic. However, with the Club being closed, it has given us the opportunity to fast track our renovations. During this time we have installed over 31,000 mts of data and power cables, drilled over 245 holes in the ground for the piling with a total depth of 1,600 mts, had over 504 different building trade personal on site, and poured over 2,500 cubic mts of concrete from over 600 concrete trucks. With all of the above being achieved during our shutdown, it gives me great pleasure to inform you all that our re-opening date, will be 9.30am Monday 21 September 2020. Unfortunately, on reopening there will still be some inconvenience to our patrons, particularly the Clubs carpark as we will still be in construction phase. We will have only 80 parking bays available with temporary traffic flow arrangements in place. We will also have temporary signage and line making in place and staff to direct you. Vehicle access to the Club during these temporary arrangements will be from Church Street only with Campbell Street being Exit only. We anticipate the new split-level Car park will be opened mid-November which will increase our overall parking capacity to 280. Our new home for our Stonegrill Restaurant and new cocktail lounge are still in the construction phase and we are hopeful these will also be completed mid-November. Since the Club has closed the world is certainly a different place. Prior to closing words like Corona was something you served with a wedge of lime, Covid-19 sounded like a term NASA would use to name a newly discovered star and physical distancing was something you did to avoid someone, however these terms now take on a completely different meaning with the Club now needing to comply with the NSW Government public heath orders. This has forced us to devise a very strict hygiene and physical distancing safety plan, which we will be enforcing at all times. We know that some of the restrictions imposed will be inconvenient for some of you but we ask you all for your understanding and compliance as the Health and Safety of our staff, members and our local community is paramount in these unprecedented times. To ensure compliance with the current public health orders we have regretfully temporarily suspended all of our regular entertainment and promotions including Raffles and Bingo, indoor sports and the Clubs courtesy bus, additionally the Clubs Auditorium/ Stardust room and Basement levels will also be closed. I once again we thank you all for your patience and we are all super excited to see you again and to show off our 80% completed new Club Richard Bone General Manager

09.01.2022 Renovation Update from the GM Hi Everyone, Firstly, a big 'Thank you' to you all for your patience. I hope you are all well and staying safe in these trying times.... As I mentioned in my previous correspondence with you, we were hoping to reopen the Club on Tuesday 4 August, however we have encountered some unforeseeable issues, so I regret to inform you that opening on this date is unachievable. Please be assured that we are working through these issues very quickly but unfortunately, I am not able to give you an exact reopening date at present, however I can tell you we are getting very close. I cannot thank the Team at New England Constructions enough for all they are doing to get us back up and running as soon as possible. I am sure that when we do you will be amazed at the sheer scale of this project and will realise why we cannot rush the reopening.
