21.01.2022 Little Athletics NSW have released information to centres in line with the NSW Chief Health Officers additional public health recommendations. The staff have now had an opportunity to review these recommendations and we will be implementing a number of changes. Firstly, amendments have been made to our Covid-19 Return to Sport documents to reflect the following changes:... Athletes will only be able to attend the Centre that they have registered with (In the past athletes have been able to ‘visit’ another centre for competition etc). Only athletes/members of a respective centre will be able to attend centre-based coaching. i.e. athletes will not be able to attend another centre for coaching. Centre’s will not be permitted to conduct Gala days or other inter-centre competition. In addition to the changes to the Return to Sport documents, we are also requiring centres to not hold any Face to face presentations or other social activities until further notice. Whilst these changes will have a further impact on our centre, limiting the spread of Covid-19 in the community now will assist in ensuring that we have the opportunity to conduct our season.

17.01.2022 A Message for DUAL ATHLETES U12-U17 ***FROM SEPTEMBER In the past, Little Athletics NSW dual-aged athletes were asked to select a senior club when registering with a little Athletics Club. The athlete's data was then imported into the Athletics NSW membership platform and each athlete automatically was allocated to an ANSW club as a member. This season, ANSW will require Dual athletes to individually activate or renew their free ANSW Dual membership via the ANSW membership platform. ANSW will send very clear communications to all Dual athletes regarding this process along with the ANSW Membership Go Live date.

Here you'll select the senior ANSW club you'd like to compete with. Your Dual Membership will again allow you the same access to all ANSW competitions as full members this summer! Since November 2018 the Coles Little Athletics Community Fund has provided centres with funds to purchase a range of equipment including Tiny Tots equipment, timing gates, defibrillators, marquess, race clocks, speakers, storage containers, new sand for long jump pits, laptops and purpose-built high jump mat trailers. (20/11/20) For our U9-U12 Junior Athletes wanting to attend the state qualifying meet See Below; The Littles State Qualifying Meet for Region 4 is at Jubilee Park Wagga Wagga Athletics Centre on the 6-7 February 2021. A participant is only able to enter up to four (4) events, and the qualifying standards are able to be achieved at your centre, another centre or any gala day/meet hosted in a Zone and Region in NSW in the 2020/2021 season. You need to select your 4 events & submit to Lianne Cut off date is 18th December. Please check your emails in the coming days for the form. Events are listed below along with qualifying times/metres required to qualify for this carnival.. If you don’t meet the qualifying times shown below , you will not be selected. Once submitted these will then be verified and lodged to LANSW. We will be advised of all successful qualifying athletes by 15 January 2021. Note our club does not choose who gets to go , LANSW does once all regions have submitted there forms, same as regionals works. Information for 13-17’s to follow The better your PB the better chance you have to qualify.

04.01.2022 Hi Everyone NSW Health has put out an updated document yesterday with regards to community sport. Unfortunately this means we are not allowed to hold presentation/awards events. We were hoping to hold an awards day during September but sadly we no longer can. We will come up with something that fits all the Covid criteria, we are saddened that the kids won’t be able to be applauded by their fellow athletes in person for their achievements for last season.
