21.01.2022 Shoosh for Kids is a collaborative effort between the Office of Sport and State Sporting Organisations to promote positive behaviour to their members, clubs and... associations. The general rule is, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything. Shoosh for Kids' focus is to keep sport focused on fun so that kids continue to enjoy participating in sport. The purpose of the campaign is to support grassroots sports in providing positive environments for their members, whilst also addressing issues which arise from poor behaviour including: Abuse to officials Reduced volunteer numbers Reduced participation rates (due to poor experiences/non-enjoyment/too competitive) We ask you all to support the "Shoosh for Kids" message at all Clubs and KNSW Karting Events!

19.01.2022 The 2020 WKRC Presentation Night, where we will celebrate the achievements of our members during quite a unique year. Bookings can be made at the following link, and paid for with a Credit Card (No cash payments due to Covid sorry). Don't forget to include your requests for who you would like to sit with, and any dietary requirements: https://www.trybooking.com/BMYED... Note this year, due to Covid Safety requirements, there will be no ticket sales on the night, food will be served at each table rather than buffet style as we have done previously, and you obviously should not come if you are sick. For our Life Members, we hope you can join us, so we can keep you updated on what the club has been doing, even though we are unable to offer you free tickets this year. If anyone needs help with booking tickets, please email the club [email protected], otherwise we look forward to seeing you on the 11/12/20 at 7.30pm. Note we will also be holding the AGM at 6.30pm prior to this event, and we would love to see as many members present for the AGM as possible.

05.01.2022 The Club Championship results have been updated to include who has qualified for the Championship by completing their required club duty https://wkrc.com.au/doco/2020/wkrcChampionship3.xls There are still two rounds left to complete your club duty to be eligible for the championship, available duties are listed here: https://wkrc.com.au/clubDuty.php... If you would like to volunteer to perform a club duty and become eligible for the Club Championship, email [email protected] with which role at which event you would like to perform. There are lots of little jobs that need to be done to run a race meeting, and the small group of people that make up the committee can't do them all, we need your help! The club has reminded everyone of the above via email and social media multiple times over the last several months, so don't complain at the end of the year if you aren't eligible.
