18.01.2022 Please read below message that we have received and head to link on bottom to sign petition:- I am a member of The Seacliff Coasters, a local group of trail runners in the Northern Illawarra. We have just launched a petition, which we will submit to a public hearing later this month on Wollongong Coal’s plans to expand its operations at Russel Vale and to mine further under the catchment. Apart from environmental concerns, Wollongong Coal has recently erected signs, prohibi...ting access to the escarpment along the Lower Escarpment Trail in anticipation of the mine expansion. We strongly object to Wollongong Coal blocking public access and amenity to such a beautiful part of the Escarpment and I am sure many members of your group will feel the same because we often see mountain bike riders along the trails. Would you be able to share the link to our petition on your Facebook page and help share it as widely as possible with other groups who love these trails and the areas they pass through?
