14.01.2022 WARRIORS AT QUAFL 2019 Over the weekend the Warriors, joined by several members of the Melbourne University Quidditch Club Unicorns, headed to Minto to compete in the 2019 Australian National Championship. Dealing with heavy smoke due to nearby bushfires, Day 1 (Pool Play) was tough, but frequent game breaks implemented by Quidditch Australia were a godsend both for the smoke and the heat - who doesn’t love a 5 minute break every 10 minutes?...Continue reading

12.01.2022 Day 1 schedule of #QUAFL is up! Nationals are in Minto this year, so come check it out! We’ll be playing some friends from NSW, Victoria and Queensland! All four games on day 1 will be tough for us, but each game will be a good opportunity for us to learn, show off how much we’ve improved this year, and end the Quidditch year on a bang. See you on the pitch! Also shoutout to Macarthur Weasleys Quidditch Club for hosting! Courtney Buckley Photography & Willem de Gouw Quidditch Photography
12.01.2022 Wishing Arfy, captain of the Macarthur Weasleys & backbone of the Greater Southern Super Club a very happy birthday!!!!
08.01.2022 Unfortunately tomorrow’s come and try session has been cancelled due to rain. We will be moving this session to the 22nd
06.01.2022 We hope everyone has had a great, and safe, Christmas and New Year! So many Wollongong locals head south for the holidays, and so many of us have now lost property in the affected areas. All of us and our families are safe, and we’re pushing for all Wollongong tourists who are currently ‘down the coast’ to heed the RFS advice and instructions to get out now - if we’ve learned anything these holidays, it’s that property and things can be replaced but loved ones can’t. A bleak first post of 2020, but with everything that’s going on, we felt it was important to spread the message from the RFS as far and wide as our little page can. Stay safe everybody.
05.01.2022 It’s been pretty quiet over here recently, but semesters back and so are we! If you’re interested in giving quidditch a try or just want to find out more about the team you can catch us at any of the following events during March. Our next event is our 2nd come & try session, this Sunday at 10:30 at our normal training field in Gwynneville.... We’ll also be running weeknight trainings with the Macarthur Weasleys & Illawarra Unregistered Animagi so keep an eye out for when & where they will be.
04.01.2022 Tomorrow the Warriors will be heading up to Kayess Park in Minto for the 1st NQL friendlies of the year hosted by the North Sydney Nightmares This will likely be the closest tournament to Wollongong for the semester so feel free to come along and support the team!
