25.01.2022 Good evening Workshoppers! Submissions are now open for our 2021 season! We are looking forward to opening our doors once again and are looking for 2 shows to join our season for 2021. 'Boeing Boeing', 'The Clean House' and 'Angels in America: Part Two' have been moved to next year with dates to be announced. We are looking for shows for May and November from any genre. Submissions close 1st September 2020. Submissions should include; - Name of play, author and synopsis... - Production team - Rights- Cost and availability - Proposed Budget - Cast Size - Dates (May or November 2021) - Any additional show information. 22.01.2022 The WWT committee have decided, due to safety concerns for all involved (actors, crew and our loyal audiences), that the balance of the 2020 season of plays has now been postponed till 2021. At this stage our proposed 2021 season will be; Boeing Boeing Feb/Mar 2021 Blackadder the Third May 2021... The Clean House July 2021 Angels in America September 2021 The Mousetrap November 2021 Keep an eye on this page for further updates and projects for 2020.

21.01.2022 We know that we have been quiet recently, but we are still here planning the remainder of the year, and getting ready for a better 2021. 12.01.2022 Good morning Workshoppers! Here is a quick update as we continue to navigate through this crazy period. The previous committee have continued to stay on as caretakers for the theatre until we can safely hold an AGM. We thank them for their continued support. We are also working towards reopening our doors and ensuring the safety of our patrons and performers moving forward. This time has also given us the chance to undergo some much needed work to the outside of our buildin...g as well as some other small projects. We are looking forward to putting together our 2021 season with more information to come in the next few weeks. Keep an eye on this page for more updates and we hope to see you soon! Stay safe!

11.01.2022 It is with great sadness that Wollongong Workshop Theatre has made the incredibly tough decision to postpone our 2020 season until August due to the COVID-19 virus in our community. This is a tough decision made in the interest of the safety and wellbeing of all our volunteers, actors, crew and audience. This decision also comes as part of the Australian Government's measures to stop of the spread of the virus within the community. Unfortunately this means that both 'Boeing ...Boeing' and 'Angels in America' will not be going ahead at this time. However will be rescheduled along with the rest of our 2020 season including 'The Clean House' and 'The Mousetrap'. The committee will stay up to date on any information and decisions made by the various Governments and regulatory bodies. Whilst we are saddened to have made this decision, we hope that we all can come together and be stronger to give you an awesome second half of the year.
