19.01.2022 Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful 2015 and that you successfully fulfil any New Years Resolutions you may have. Because its true, theres no time like the present, so New Years motivation or not, lets all work hard and make it count. :) Just another reminder that when this page reaches 100 likes, youll be rewarded with a new song video from yours truly! 18.01.2022 Hello, lovely people! I have an announcement for you today. In addition to my vocal lessons, I am now offering piano lessons to all who are interested and would like to learn. Just as a bit of background on my piano skills and experience: I have been playing the piano for 16 years and now play at the standard of between 8th grade and AMus level, according to the system of the Australian Music Examinations Board. My first job was performing as a session pianist at a Sandgate ...restaurant at age 13, and since then, I have performed professionally on the piano in numerous capacities. I am accomplished at performing various genres of music on piano, including classical, jazz, blues, musical theatre and contemporary repertoire. I have been writing my own songs for piano and voice since age 15, and continue to do so today in my capacity as frontwoman and co-composer for Dark Symphonica. For my piano lessons, I will charge the same fee as for my vocal lessons, i.e. $35/hour, and the same lesson policies will apply - hour-long lessons only, either weekly or fortnightly. Face-to-face lessons are preferable for piano, however, if students have their own piano or keyboard, Skype lessons are also an option. I am able to teach absolute beginner to intermediate level pianists, and can provide you with the tools you need to achieve your piano goals, whether it be just for fun, or to play in a band, or to prepare for formal piano examinations. 17.01.2022 Hi everyone! Hope youve enjoyed your week so far. I just have a couple of pieces of info/reminders for you all. Firstly, you can now find all lesson information in one comprehensive list for your convenience, under the "Personal Information" section in the "About" tab of this page. Hopefully the information included should answer any questions you might have about my lessons and policies, but if not, please dont hesitate to message me via this page. :) And secondly, I have ...established a cancellation policy whereby students who wish to cancel their lessons for reasons other than sudden illness or exceptional circumstances must give me 24 hours notice. This is just as a courtesy - no fee will be incurred if notice is given less than 24 hours before the lesson. Hope you all enjoyed a wonderful holiday period, and that 2015 is already looking to be a fantastic year for you! :)

Just a little update re. payment methods, for your information and interest - I now accept direct bank transfer and, because of its convenience, this is now my preferred method of payment for Skype/online students. However, if you strongly prefer Paypal, as some people do, I am still happy to accept that. But now for the fun stuff - I have been in the studio very frequently recently, recording vocals for my band Dark Symphonicas upcoming album Immersion! Its all going very well, with everyone in the band working very hard to (finally) get our magnum opus released. We anticipate that by mid-2015, we will be able to put our music in your earholes. Exciting! :)

Refer to the "About" page for my bio and teaching style and philosophy, whilst Timeline posts will contain information about the lessons themselves. ***LESSON INFORMATION*** I offer hour-long lessons only, either weekly or fortnightly (whichever suits you bes...t) at a fee of $35/hour. I primarily provide Skype lessons, however, if you strongly prefer face-to-face lessons, please contact me via the provided contact details (mobile, email and Facebook private message) to make special arrangements. Payment is made in advance of the lesson: for Skype lessons it is via Paypal, the details of which I will give you after we have established a lesson time, and for any face-to-face lessons, payment must be in cash. Before your first lesson, I ask that you think about your goals for your singing and what youd like to learn, and then provide me with one or two songs or arias that youd like to practice so that I can get an idea of the repertoire I should find for you. 08.01.2022 Friends! I am glad to say that I have now decided to offer singing lessons again. If you are an aspiring vocalist of beginner to intermediate skill who wishes to improve your technique or expand your repertoire, or even if you simply enjoy singing and want to do it for fun, hit me up for vocal coaching! I am able to teach a number of clean vocal styles, all grounded in a solid foundation of classical technique, and I offer very competitive rates.
