24.01.2022 We have some very talented French students here at WPS



23.01.2022 What a day! Although it was a little later in the year, the WPS swimming carnival did not disappoint. Congratulations to all our swimmers. It was great to see everyone having a go and supporting each other.

22.01.2022 Monday is one of our favourite days here at WPS. Students participate in our STEM program. Some lucky students got to make chicken nuggets and apple crumble muffins. Others are making napkin holders, baskets and learning all about motorbikes!

21.01.2022 School swimming program 2020. Today we were blessed with sunshine and warm weather. Our students are having a great time whilst building on their skills and technique.



19.01.2022 NSW School Sport Unit Today some of our lucky students got to travel to Narooma to experience the Try Boccia Day. This is a great opportunity provided by the NSW School Sport Unit for our students to try a new sport that is accessible to everyone.

18.01.2022 This year WPS will be supporting Bandanna Day. Bandannas are $5.00 each and come in a variety of patterns and colours and can be purchased from the front office. Please support this very worthwhile cause, as all proceeds go towards supporting kids with cancer.

16.01.2022 Today we completed our basket weaving project and made sweet potato chips, pesto & cheese scrolls and pancakes!



14.01.2022 Students had so much fun decorating their mugs for Hero Day. To all our dads out there we hope you have a wonderful day!

14.01.2022 Tomorrow is the due date for money to be returned for the Jolly Socks fundraiser. If you haven’t already returned your money please do so along with any unsold socks. It’s wonderful to see the students wearing their brightly coloured socks in the playground. Please help the P&C support our school by getting behind this great fundraiser.

13.01.2022 Each year Bournda EEC and Taronga Zoo usually bring their Zoo Mobile to visit the school. This year has been a little different with the Bournda team providing a video conference link to our students. Whilst the students weren’t able to physically touch the animals this year, they still got to see them pretty close up and learnt a lot about what makes our native animals so unique and special.

11.01.2022 Students have now started training for our belated cross country and athletics carnival which will be held in weeks 2 and 4 next term. Below are some action shots from their training this morning.

06.01.2022 Friday’s are our favourite day of the week! Our canteen does an amazing job each week providing healthy meals for our students and staff. If you have an hour or two to spare, we would love to see some new faces.
