In light of the ever evolving COVID-19 outbreak from 16 March 2020 Women's Housing Ltd will be adopting social distancing policies. Women's Housing Ltd is preparing for staff to work from home and formulating plans to assist our tenants and clients through this time. Women's Housing Ltd will support staff to work from home. For now the office w...ill be open but we advise people to call or email. Anyone attending the office will be asked for their name and contact details, this information will be shared with the local public health authorities in the event of a positive virus outbreak within the organisation. Women's Housing Ltd can still be contacted on 9412 6868 and all staff via their usual email addresses. For the forseeable future Women's Housing Ltd have postponed, cancelled or taken online all non essential meetings, training, events, forums and conferences. Support for our tenants and clients is crucial at this time. Women's Housing Ltd will continue to communicate with tenants and clients through text messages, telephone calls and emails and post updates on our website when needed. These are extraordinary times. 06.01.2022 In a bid to increase Australia's supply of social and affordable housing, Homes for Homes distributed $460,000 worth of funding across four projects. Women’s Housing Ltd were fortunate enough to receive a $70,000 contribution to the purchase of one of seven units in Box Hill. The units in Box Hill will provide affordable housing to women over 55 and women escaping family violence. Thank you Homes for Homes for supporting Women's Housing Ltd in providing more safe, secure and affordable housing choices.

05.01.2022 Women’s Housing Limited are pleased to announce that National Housing Finance and Investment Commission (NHFIC) finalised its latest bond on 24 June 2020, with the funds supporting a loan to Women’s Housing Limited. NHFIC funds loans to registered community housing providers. These low cost, long term loans assist to expand operations and the supply of social and affordable housing. "This will be directed towards building new, safe homes for women. As an example of this benefit, we’ve been able to purchase seven one-bedroom units outright. Women are able to live in these units, paying 75% of the market rent, and we can afford to do this because of the lower borrowing costs with NHFIC." Judy Line, CEO Women's Housing Ltd.

Please note, we can only assist households with a single woman, women partnered with other women, or women with children. ‘Women’ includes trans and non-binary women. Due to the current increase of requests for assistance, you may experience an increased wait-time for a return call or be asked to call back next week.
