We have sessions every Wednesday 10am-12pm at the Hornsby PCYC. 18 and 25 September activities include your choice between an exciting game of Badminton or soothing Meditation with Elena. Followed by everyone coming together to dance and share a cup of coffee. ... We look forward to seeing you there!

22.01.2022 We have had great turn outs to our weekly meetings at the Hornsby PCYC! Yesterday at Womens Shed we kickstarted the session with some mindfulness meditation, and then practiced our dance therapy steps. Come along next week to channel your inner chi, show us your best moves, and meet some lovely women in the community!

21.01.2022 Well, WSHK has begun in 2020! We started off on the right foot, with the dance therapy workshop lead by the marvelous Law May, from DanceLoveDanceLove. We had a great turnout too - connections were made! We told stories, did some lovely dance moves, had a knitting circle, and we also have sessions of Tai Chi with Elena and Chair Yoga with Janet, you can even try badminton and a bit of boxing, thanks to the facilities at Waitara PCYC. Come and join us on Wednesday, 10am-12pm, for some fun, exercise, and to meet some friendly people! The cost is $30 for a year, which will give you membership to both the Womens Shed Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai, AND to the PCYC Waitara. Come along, try it out, see if its for you!

Youre invited to an open dance therapy class with Law for a great experience, even if youve never danced before. We focus on self-expression and getting your body moving! Becoming a member of the Womens Shed gives you free access to all our programs for the year. At only $30 a year, it also includes membership to PCYC! We also have payment plans available if you cant afford it up front.

17.01.2022 Whos coming to our launch event on Sunday?? Tickets have now sold out so its sure to be a packed house. Our members have been preparing a dance piece for the event based on self-expression through movement thanks to a series of workshops sponsored by Community Migrant Resource Centre - here they are practicing. If you would like to be part of this fun new community, come down to the PCYC Hornsby / Ku-ring-gai on Wednesdays from 10:00am - 12:00pm.

It is important to stay at home right now, but we should also take care of our mental health and stay connected during such challenging times. 06.01.2022 Hi ladies! Welcome back to WSHK in 2020 .. commencing Term 1 on Wednesday 12 February at PCYC Hornsby/Ku-ring-gai, 1 Park Lane Waitara .. with Zhen Meditation and Tai Chi from 10-11am. Alternatively you could play badminton during this time if you prefer. This will be followed with social networking over tea, games and dance. Theres also an option to do knitting anytime between 10am to 12pm.
