07.01.2022 Decobob has so many uses, from EPP to long arm quilting, my most recent way of using it, is with sequins and beads. Super strong but super fine, it’s working a treat Has anyone else used it for beading?

07.01.2022 There are many ways you can break a needle, like when you are trying to hem and sew over the thick seam on a pair of jeans The problem with sewing over a thick... seam is that the presser foot will tilt as it sews over it, conflicting with the positioning of the needle, and potentially causing it to break. Here’s a handy tip! Place a flat container, like a case for a needle, behind a presser foot as you sew over a heavy seam. This way the presser foot can stay parallel to the sewing machine and it won’t conflict with your needle either! #tiptuesday See more

06.01.2022 Having trouble sewing with metallic threads? One contributing factor is that these threads have a memory (curl). When they come off the spool, they keep the sh...ape they were bent into wrapped around the spool. These curls can mess with thread tensions and cause thread breakages along the machine's thread path . To prevent from this happening, wrap a Wonder Guard (a thread guard) around your spool of metallic thread while sewing. As the thread draws off the spool, the guard will help pull those curls out before it even reaches the machine, giving you a much better thread tension and fewer issues as a result! #tiptuesday See more
