23.01.2022 It’s been one year since the first ‘code red’ fire danger rating in almost a decade was declared, and dry lightning strikes in North East Victoria and East Gipp...sland started multiple fires which grew into a devastating bushfire disaster. Today we acknowledge and thank our FFMVic crews and all the emergency services and volunteers who not only fought the fires but also helped affected communities rebuild and move forward after an unprecedented fire season.

And of course, there’s the special ways we remember the dads we've lost. Now more than ever it’s the thought that counts, so let’s thank our dads and carers a little differently this year. The water comes from closed catchments and has been mixed with disinfected water so the likelihood of any illness being caused is low. But we believe it is better to be safe than sorry. People should contact their GP if this occurs.
