02.01.2022 Hi All. This page is for readers comments and reviews and for people who are looking for information about this new book, recently launched. It is "Aunt Peggy; A Woman of the 20th Century" and is the memoirs of Peggy Webb, long time resident of Kojonup ('Chamingup' farm). Peggy was born in Mexico in 1910 and died in Busselton at age 94, in 2004. She had an eventful life, in Sth America, England, Sydney, Perth, Kojonup and Busselton. She lived through two World Wars, the fir...st in England and the second in Kojonup whilst her new husband served in SE Asia. She lived through the depression in Sydney with her extensive family, travelled to Ireland and Germany in 1935 (steerage both ways) but was rich in friends, optimism and opinions. Her book is available from me (click on the "Send email" button, or call) and outlets in Kojonup. I am working on more outlets. RRP is $30, plus Postage if applicable, for 432 pages of interesting history, with pictures. All profits after direct publishing, printing and promotion costs are to be donated to Development projects through Rotary. No agency or middleman fees will be deducted, all money to be spent on the projects alone. See more
