16.01.2022 What a magical counting down for Christmas day week. We made rum balls including the making of Christmas tags to create gifts for luv ones. Christmas lights tours included visting the gorgeous Richie. The amazing Pug puppy belonging to Kayley Honnay,s daughter. We visited Mundoolun, Tullamore and surrounding areas of Beaudesert. What a great evening. And a huge thank.you to the adopt a grandparent organisation Without these wonderful group of people we would not of had a gift to give to each resident. The leisure and lifestyle team sorted through the donations to find the perfect gift for each resident . On Christmas eve Archie, Honnay and Wendy dressed up and delivered a gift to each resident in Wongaburra . We felt like Santa.

09.01.2022 Friday the 11th of December the DSU area residents enjoyed a Christmas Morning Tea family gathering. Tables were decorated and organised by the Leisure and Lifestyle team. The highlight of the morning was the visit from Santa. A big Thank you to all the volunteers and our entertainer John Barnes for making this event so special.
