We are located in Ebenezer; near Windsor, and the endurance season runs from February to November, is usually every fortnight; and would require the person to be available from the Saturday morning to the Sunday evening and sometimes longer. Ideal candidates should be experienced and confident with handling/riding young horses, stallions and fit endurance horses. ... Duties will vary from mucking out stables/yards, feeding, rugging/unrugging, training/riding endurance horses, putting horses on and off horse walker. Must be able to work unsupervised and part of a team. There would also be the opportunity to attend and compete in endurance rides (membership and ride entries would be paid for). 15.01.2022 Super proud of these two, Charadia Zignzag piloted by Brett Pevy in Ziggys first 80km, which ended up being 84km, this last weekend at The Rock. They did it in a very impressive ride time of 6hrs and 15mins and were 4th heavyweight. Ziggy vetted early off both legs and took everything in his stride. Many thanks to Kellie Mcdougall of Mahazin Arabians for continuing to entrust Ziggys endurance training with us here at Wongaburra Endurance. #teamwongaburra #wongaburrastud #endurancehorse #charadiazignzag

This stunning rising 26yo stallion is one of the last remaining entire sons of the legend himself, Ralvon Pilgrim. Rissaam stands at 15hh and is an absolute gentleman in every way.... Experienced mares preferred due to his age, but sensible maidens also considered. Live cover only at the moment, but frozen/chilled semen may be a possibility if there is a demand for it. 05.01.2022 Last ride of the season on the past weekend saw Wongaburra take three horses to Burraga for the 80km @ the Snowy Zone Champs. Myself on Jamal Desert Mist Tori Bice onboard ALandell Destiny Mitch Ravallion aboard ALandell King.... We managed 2 from 3 on a hot tough course, and even managed to get equal 5th middeweight with both successful horses. All three horses had amazing heart rates across the ride; Misty - 34/37/40 King - 32/45/32 Destiny - 37/39/45 Thanks to both Tori and Mitch for taking such good care of the boys, and big thanks to Peter Bice for replacing Kings lost shoe in between legs. 02.01.2022 OMG proud does not even cover the emotions from the weekend! Brett and I travelled to Tooraweenah over Easter with Jamal Desert Mist aka Misty and Wongaburra Legacy aka Leila. It was to be Bretts first 80km ride aboard Misty and Leila and I were going to attempt two 40km rides together. After a false start and having to withdraw Leila preride from Saturdays 40km, I decided to enter her into Sundays 80km with Brett and Misty with plans to withdraw after the first leg.... We completed the first leg in 3hrs and 22mins. Both mares were bright eyed and bushy tailed. Vetted both girls early, Misty vetted at 46, Leila at 38!! Decision was made to take Leila back out. Second leg took a bit longer at 4hrs 13mins. Vetted early again, Misty finishing with a heart rate of 47, while Leila was 38!!!! OMG my baby girl did it and finished with all As and 1s Brett and Misty also managed to take out 3rd Heavyweight. #teamwongaburra #wongaburrastud #greypocketrocketmares

01.01.2022 2 from 3 successful in their first 80km rides at Scenic City over the weekend. King ridden by Lizzy and Destiny ridden by Tori. Thanks ladies you did an awesome job with these two boys. Unfortunately Ziggy had a very unsettled night when horses broke out of their yards and came running around camp....one being a mare! Consequently Ziggy tied up only a few kms into the first leg.
