24.01.2022 This Saturday, 5th September, is our sewing day. You can bring your own project or sew some blocks for Comfort Quilts for Cancer. Start time is 10am.



24.01.2022 Painting is on this Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. At the moment we are doing folk art but you can paint in any medium or even draw or sketch. (Picture is Ann's palm frond art) Elizabeth is our painting teacher and is happy to help anyone who needs some advise with their project or who wants to start right from the beginning.

21.01.2022 Don't forget the late night shopping this Friday at the Wongan Hills Visitors Centre from 4pm - 8pm. The Wongan Hills Arts & Craft Society will also be open a...s well as stalls from Handmade by Mel's Designs and Wongan-Ballidu Bush Care. Come down and grab some great Christmas presents by supporting local groups.

19.01.2022 We have got some great new work on display from members and the school children so call in and have a look. We are currently opening more hours to accommodate all the extra visitors to town but if the center is not open and you would like to have a look around please contact Ann Howieson on 0427 097 342 and she will open up for you.



19.01.2022 This Saturday, the 4th of July, is our sewing day. Need help or visitation to complete a sewing project? We have experienced sewers available to help you. Start time is 10am. Bring your own lunch. Tea and coffee supplied. The next Saturday's sewing day will be the 1st of August and will be our community sewing day for Comfort Quilts for Cancer.

17.01.2022 Today a great display of local work and items for sale has been set up for the next 3 days for the Reynoldson Reserve weekend. Be sure to go in and have a look at the beautiful work and get a ticket in the raffle. The local wildflowers are also on display by the Bushcare group in the centre and are well worth a visit.

15.01.2022 Folk art painting classes recommence on Friday the 10th of July at 10am. Paint & materials are available to purchase if you do not have any. Class fee is $5. Bring your own lunch. Coffee and tea supplied. Next painting class is Saturday the 25th July.

14.01.2022 This coming Saturday is our sewing day and we are sewing crazy patch blocks for Comfort Quilts for Cancer. Starting at 10am and finishing about 2pm. These are easy to make so come along and have a go! Bring your sewing machine if you have one and your lunch if you want to stay for the whole session.
