24.01.2022 Wonthaggi is having Anzac ceremonies, they left it out of Russell Broadbent's booklet, but there definitely will be Dawn and Daytime ceremonies at the Wonthaggi Cenotaph as normal.

20.01.2022 it is great to see this page being used for the purpose it was created, and that is for people to share and keep in touch. A reunion of past attendees was held on the weekend and here are some photos that have been shared. A Great get together for the 1970-75 cohort. 19.01.2022 Sadly, I note the death of Rudi Geppert in today's Herald Sun newspaper. Rudi taught at the Secondary College in the 1990's. I was aware that Rudi had cancer from a recent television interview with him. There is no funeral notice.

16.01.2022 so as normal, the kids have gone back to school and the weather has got hot. A few days later than normal, but still. :)

01.01.2022 I was just sitting here quietly thinking and I realised that on the 14th of February this year, it will be 50 years..........yes folks you read it correctly.........that is 50 years since Australia changed to decimal currency. Wow 50 years. The advert that they used to play on the TV and radio way back then still reverberates in my mind. It was obviously a great advertising strategy if it has stuck for 50 years.
