19.01.2022 Wonthella resident Colin Clark is currently exhibiting his art work at the ACDC gallery on Marine Terrace (opposite the Jaffle Shack). On Saturday 27 January he will be giving an artist talk at 10am. I hope you get a chance to call in and check it out.

13.01.2022 Free WILDFLOWER GUIDED WALK in Chapman River Regional Park. SUNDAY 8 OCTOBER 2.00pm-4.00pm Meet opposite 42 Tersonia Way, Strathalbyn ... Chapman River Regional Park Join CRF to discover this native bushland (364 ha) in the heart of Geraldton-WA. The park is home to more than 300 plant, 123 bird, 22 reptile and frog species, plus kangaroos and echidnas. Suitable for children 6y+. Your safety is YOUR responsibility. Paths are rough. Wear appropriate bush clothes, closed sturdy shoes, sunhat, sunscreen, (raincoat). BYO water bottle. If weather is inclement walks may be cancelled. On the day of the walk contact the Geraldton Visitor Center. Week-end hours is 9am to 1pm. 07.01.2022 IMPORTANT: The City of Greater Geraldton is holding an election by postal vote on Saturday, 21 October 2017 to fill two vacancies in the Willcock Ward which consists of Wonthella, Rangeway and Narngulu. Your four candidates are (as listed on your ballot paper): ASHPLANT, Ron ELPHICK, Sally MAY, Michael ... KEEMINK, Simon The following information has been taken from https://www.cgg.wa.gov.au//Greater_Geraldton_-_Election_No Election Packages will be sent to all electors on the local government electoral roll where there is an election in their electorate. Replacement Packages can be obtained from the City of Greater Geraldton prior to election day and from 8.00am to 6.00pm on election day if the package is not received or should any papers be missing. Post your vote early. Completed postal voting packages must reach the Returning Officer by 6.00pm on election day, Saturday, 21 October 2017.
