25.01.2022 Fresh off the easel! Down the Lane Oil on linen canvas 30cm x 30 cm Is it a contradiction that I don’t like gardening, and in all honesty do not know the names of too many flowers , I like buying I like being given flowers , and absolutely love painting botanicals? Nowadays Nature is my Muse... Another Magnolia in this delicious colour combination of Duck Egg Blue with Dusty Rose and Burnt Sienna. This is the second one of three I am going to paint and have my framer put them into oak float frames, they will make a beautiful statement in a bedroom or bathroom.

24.01.2022 Myriad of Blushes is finally finished! I have been quiet for a few days as I have been immersed in working on this oil painting. Love the beautiful curly petals in the centre, so unique. 76cm x 76 cm on canvas. (Original photo image by Loretta Karazinov who grows these beautiful flowers)... #petportraits #watercolourartist #beachscene #surfpaintings #noosapaintings #alcoholink #alcoholinkartist #wispyalcoholink #alcoholinkabstract #interiordesign #interiordesignart #wallart #luxury_rooms #cosmetictattooing #botanicalart #emergingartists #houserenovation #artprints #artforsale #galleryart #sunshinecoastart #mixedmedia #artforyourhome #interiorstylist #artanddesign #poscapens #acrylicink #artlove #interiorart #artforsale #homestyling #interiorbloggers #buyartdirect #botanicalsinoil See more

15.01.2022 In The Shadows. Oil on canvas. 30cm x 30 cm. Some women feel the need to act like they're never scared, needy or hurt; like they're as hardened as a man. I think that's dishonest. It's ok to feel delicate sometimes. Real beauty is in the fragility of your petals. A rose that never wilts isn't a rose at all. Crystal Woods

15.01.2022 Yippee a new batch of oil paints have arrived to add to my collection can’t wait to test them out so watch this space!

12.01.2022 This gorgeous alcohol ink painting is now hanging in its forever home Thank you to my new collector.

12.01.2022 Trying out my new oils on a small canvas before I get going on another super large botanical, so nice watching a painting develop, each time I definitely go through the "shall I bin it" phase

12.01.2022 Working with my alcohol inks today Tides was born out of these beautiful pearlescent inks. With some added doodles it just looks fabby doo

11.01.2022 FyreFlower couldn’t help but add some doodle magic to this flaming alcohol ink painting. Looks lovely matted with a coloured frame.

09.01.2022 Working with oils, painting a cafe au lait Dahlia and background roses, what a beautiful flower, I am definitely going to make a visit to the grower in Tamborine mountain in November when they are in full bloom. So many petals this quite a challenge but enjoying the process

08.01.2022 I am thinking about what my next large size close focus botanical should be? in the meantime I am going to play with some of my other products. I have been doodling the past couple of days and thought, I don’t actually know the true meaning of doodling, the dictionary term is a rough drawing made absent-mindedly, I know I am absent minded! but didn’t know I was in that state of mind when doodling, either way it is fun, therapeutic with endless possibilities, and I shall continue if I remember to This small piece of watercolour, Posca pen and some ink, on watercolour paper.

07.01.2022 Sneaky peak of another large oil painting I am working on, so much beautiful detail in peonies. Still to be named. This one will be available soon as an original 76cm x 76 or a limited edition print on canvas. DM for further info or watch this space to see finished painting.

07.01.2022 "Sweetness and Light Oil on Linen board 30cm x 30 cm unframed. At a friend’s today I noticed the beautiful magnolias that were in bloom in her garden, and just had to come home and paint one ... Magnolia symbolism: Considering that Magnolia is believed to have existed from the beginning of time, it symbolizes longevity and perseverance. Magnolias can also represent nobility, love for nature, feminine sweetness and beauty.

05.01.2022 When a friend gives you freshly laid duck egg blue chickens eggs and they happen to match your painting, plus give you a delicious breakfast! Life is beautiful (yes they are chicken and not duck eggs, a bit of an oxymoron).

02.01.2022 It must be love when your hubby lets you take over the underneath of the house for your cosmetic tattoo clinic, a guest room for your art and the kitchen bench for your office! I am a very happy lady
