17.01.2022 Got the ISO blues? Having a very lonesome lockdown?? Wishing you were spending quarantine with someone special.. or even someone mediocre? Just anyone at all?! C’mon farmers... let’s get our real cowboys and cowgirls some representation!

15.01.2022 I wonder.... Do people ever realise the mark they leave on those around them? Do people know how the tributes and heart felt tears flow at the time of their passing? This week we lost one of our own. A man who was a staple at Woodalls shows for as long as we can remember. A loved member of our tight knit rodeo family.... A man who always showed up. Always got on. Always made us proud. Sammy took home titles like the Ride Tuff Novice Bull Ride in 2016, and plenty of steer ride titles. And he had plenty more left in the tank too. Here we sit, trying to fathom the idea that Sammy Daly won’t be joining us next season. Trying to know what to say. Trying to let our tribute flow... but it’s hard. So instead we imagine Sammy, grinning widely, taking his long legged strides towards the big chute gate in the sky. Raising his hat to the waiting crowd of cowboys and bulls, the champions that went before him and now welcome him home to the ‘Big Arena’ Far too young to have nodded your head for that final gate, Sammy. We’re hurting. We’re heartbroken. But we promise we will hold your memory high each and every time we step out onto a Woodall arena. And we hope you know the mark you left on us Sammy. Valè Sam Daly. Till we may meet again.

12.01.2022 So I thought I’d post a treat for the ladies, who often miss out on the love shown to the open bulls on our page. But we see you there, ladies, and we love you and your horses, so to end the RSA/Woodall season here’s a selection of runs from the Open Barrel Race at Colac Rodeo over the weekend. Huge congratulations to a Julie Breed on taking home the Woodalls Rodeo Promotions buckle for the 2019/20 opens, and Morgan McLean taking the juniors buckle. ... 04.01.2022 We’d like to extend a huge congratulations to all the competitors who worked hard all season and took home Rodeo Services Australia 2019/20 Season, Woodall Rodeo Promotion buckles last night from Colac Rodeo. It came right down to the wire for a few events, with suspense being held right up to the final buzzer. Well played team. Well played.

02.01.2022 Omeo Rodeo 2020 postponed!! date to be advised. Due to the current Victorian state of emergency the 2020 Omeo Rodeo will not proceed this Easter Saturday. We ...deeply regret the impact this will have on the town and businesses that have already suffered from the fires.
