24.01.2022 Mugaya, Kenya Blackcurrant, Lemongrass, Toffee Location: Kirinyaga, Kenya... Varieties: SL28 & SL34 Processing: Fully Washed

24.01.2022 Please welcome, RARO from Uraga in the Guji Zone of Ethiopia, produced by small holder farmers in the Raro Nansabo Village. Like most producers in Ethiopia, those in Raro Nansabo produce both improved and local heirloom coffee varieties. Walichu, Miqe, Badessa and Kurume are the popular local coffee varieties in Guji. Producers commonly mix and plant different coffee varieties together on their farms. There are few farmers who keep the variety groups separate. Dambi Udo Agro Industry (who exported this coffee) works with the few smallholder coffee producers in Raro Nansabo who separately produce the famous local coffee variety Kurume. This RARO lot is 100% Kurume and is punchy, lively, fruity and super sweet. It tastes like Rhubarb, Treacle and Mango, has some floral overtones and will taste absolutely delicious as filter and batchie

12.01.2022 WERKA rotating to the sound of the Sun So much energy from the Sun goes into growing coffee. The closer to the sun the better the coffee. All of our coffee is grown at high altitudes where the sun is pure and the UV is high. Our coffees are always sun dried. Drink the rays, bathe your being in the light.

09.01.2022 Please put your hands together for MERLIN Merlin Rosibel Nolasco and his wife Darlin are the owners of Darpamer, in Los Planes of Honduras, just north-east of the border with El Salvador. Merlin was born into coffee - his mother Rosalina Calix is a first generation farmer who instilled the caficultor spirit in her children Merliin, Freddy and Nora. Today the three siblings collaborate on each others' farms, and are all involved in the production of specialty coffee. Merlin h...as been working Darpamer for almost 10 years. He grows Catuai and Lempira, along with fruit trees including orange, lime and banana. He has his own wet mill at the farm fed by a natural waterfall. This lot was processed as a prolonged washed fermentation. Cherries were selectively hand picked and sorted before being pulped, fermented and washed. The coffee was then placed on raised beds inside a solar drier and gently and uniformly dried over 25 days. Merlin's coffee tastes like Mango, Cranberry and Cacao. We're drinking it as Batchie and Espresso, its freaking delicious, fruity and punchy. You should drink some too ;)
