24.01.2022 This handcrafted box was a commissioned piece we made from reclaimed Silky Oak. Mossy thought it would look great with a contrasting colored feather (the joints in the corners) and I have to agree with him It’s always such a joy to see reclaimed timber turned into something meaningful and useful.

The wavy patterns or ‘fiddleback’ you can see on the inside edge of the bowl is the result of the grain in the fork of the original branch. ... 16.01.2022 We were recently commissioned by the lovely Cindy from CJ’s Sweets and Treats to make a cake stand for her business. This was the first time we’d made a cake stand, so we wanted to make sure it was perfect for Cindy. We used local reclaimed Blue Gum and created it in 3 parts with our wood butter finish.
