22.01.2022 An update from Playgroup Victoria... What does the roadmap to re-opening mean for Playgroup? Taking into consideration the steps outlined for both Metro Melbourne and Regional Victoria, it is unlikely playgroups will meet again for 2020. It is only at the Last Step that social gathering numbers will enable more than 10 people to meet. It seems likely that Regional Victoria will get to the Last Step sooner. This is disappointing and highlights the many benefits we know childr...en and their families gain from participating in playgroup. Please check the DHHS website for a full outline of what happens in each step. Thank you for all your support and understanding during these uncertain times. Our committee will continue to work behind the scenes to update our facilities for the new year. Stay safe and please reach out if you and your family need for anything

21.01.2022 A little update... Our committee met up last week and are working hard towards opening our doors for Term 3. Although restrictions are easing, we will still be implementing a range of new procedures to promote everyone’s safety during these unprecedented times. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for more information leading up to Term 3.... Hope everyone is travelling well :)

19.01.2022 Our beautiful committee member Simone Jennings has thoughtfully put together some 'Funny Bunny Craft Packs' for your little ones. You can collect your craft pack from Woody’s Shop (the cubby in the front yard at Playgroup) ... Don’t forget to grab a bunny ear headband! Instructions attached :)

15.01.2022 Posting on behalf of a lovely ex WPG Mumma Hello WPG Mums and Dads! My name is Tracey Strong and I am a local video producer. In the next couple of weeks or so I’ll be doing some filming for a toy brand and I’m on the hunt for one bubba around 9/10 months old that’s sitting / not yet walking.... The shoot would involve coming to my house in Woodend (Messy but COVID Free) to film the bub playing with a new toy the brand is releasing. Would anyone here have a bub that fits the bill? 14.01.2022 Looking for a fun activity to do with your little ones this week? Cobaw Community Health Services Ltd is running a little competition to encourage kids to eat more fruit and veg. Details below but entries are due 5pm Thursday. Have fun and make sure you share your creations!

10.01.2022 Hi all, Just thought we would check in and let you all know that behind those closed doors there is a lot going on! Our committee meet up online last night and are in the final stages of approving some much needed landscaping work for our backyard. We are trying to use this time to put back in to our much loved space so when we can open up again it will be fresh and updated! ... Hope you are all travelling okay. 09.01.2022 Hi all, Our lovely committee are wondering what your thoughts are on us running our annual Christmas cake stall this year. Our committee are happy to run the stall but we would need baked/grown donations. This year has been a lot and we are conscious of this. We would be hoping to get enough to upgrade our swing set.... Would love your feedback :)
