25.01.2022 I currently do not have a phone as it packed up Thursday night. Currently waiting on my new one, same phone number, which should be arriving next few days. Contact me on here or use; [email protected]

24.01.2022 Installation of a couple of sliding doors today. Nothing special in terms of materials here really apart from the paint, client requested Porters Paint which is great to use. I made the doors just using soft wood from bunnings and two sliding door rail kits. Client has ordered handles and will be touching up the paint here and there herself. Enjoyable project.

23.01.2022 Massive day today! Mega gutter clear out and windows clean inside and out. All round great exercise. Work is pouring in and couldn’t be happier. There is still a little room before Christmas!

23.01.2022 After fighting frost, rain and the plague finally the clients roof is a nice cottage green

22.01.2022 A shed built using bits and bobs of tin supplied by the customer as well as framing timber from the hardware store

21.01.2022 Thanks to Greg down at Unique Marine, Urquhart St, Woodend for adding another layer of security on my tool box. Way to many thieves about.

20.01.2022 On going job for a local client. They had some very nice sash windows made for a garage refurb. I installed them the other day and they look very nice indeed. Primed mdf architrave on the inside and hardwood architrave on the outside

20.01.2022 Don’t forget I also do knife sharpening!

17.01.2022 Improvised chook shed for a client. Old shed was already there just had to add a wall and door and chicken wire.

16.01.2022 Good mornings work cleaning windows at a lovely property.

16.01.2022 Just a small job. Expanding the hole around a tree coming through a deck

15.01.2022 Deck completed last week. Had to wait for delivery of the Pre-made wire kits. Installed them today. Client to stain deck in a few weeks and paint the base boards

13.01.2022 From dis to dis. And for my next trick.....

13.01.2022 Front of a clients garage re-cladded. Been working for myself for awhile now and I’ve come to the conclusion that the words ‘square’, ‘level’ and ‘consistent’ in relation to structures was not in existence pre-1990.

12.01.2022 Client just had a pine tree down. Keen to be rid of the timber. Any takers I’ll let him know

12.01.2022 Improvement on storage in a larder with a rear door spice rack. No fancy timber here, just hardwood from mitre10

11.01.2022 Huuuuge day up on a clients roof repainting. Nice day for it though. Last of the Hilary Mantel audiobooks in my ears. Primer down just before dusk. First coat of cottage green tomorrow.

10.01.2022 Wee toy shelf. Dovetailed corners.

09.01.2022 Bit of an update on the sliding doors. The client managed to source some nice handles for them which I just fitted. Really looks good now.

05.01.2022 Before and after. Local client wanted to access another part of their garden from their deck. I bought the stringers and steps from Bunnings and used a primed treated pine post. I could have made the stringers myself but would have kind of been pointless and more expensive. Stringers sit on concrete

05.01.2022 Coz of Covid had a bit of extra time on my hand...... so managed to get some of my own work done for a change! Chicken coop been an ongoing project off and on for a couple of weeks. As you can probably tell it’s a fairly accurate representation of Wrens St Paul’s Cathedral

04.01.2022 Funny one this. Local wanted a plain black box to cover the top of a septic tank cheaply. Done

02.01.2022 Treated and primed lining boards beneath a veranda

02.01.2022 A little box around a pump
