25.01.2022 It's been a strange and unsettling year for everyone, and like you, we've dearly missed the usual buzz and activity of June in Woodend. We hope you and your family have been safe and well during this time. As we head towards the end of the financial year, we welcome any donations towards the next festival, big or small. Your contribution will help us with ongoing work behind the scenes and ensure we can bring you a feast of art, music, words and ideas when we are next able to! 23.01.2022 Fantastic to see so many people enjoying Woodend this weekend! It’s disappointing we couldn’t bring the festival to you this year but it’s wonderful to see people supporting local businesses especially our cafes and restaurants who have re-opened under the next stage. This afternoon we’ll showcase some images from the last couple of years. And we have a little surprise up our sleeve so watch this space!

21.01.2022 Our lovely friends at The Gallery Mt Macedon have been exhibiting at the Festival for a number of years. They are open this weekend, for very limited hours, at their gallery on Mount Macedon Road. We look forward to their exhibit at our next festival!

17.01.2022 Local documentary film-maker Michael Dillon has been recording festival footage for us for the past few years. He has just been awarded Best Director at the International Travel Film Festival. Congratulations Michael from WWAF! 15.01.2022 Happy Birthday to Ensemble Gombert, who, for at least the past 15 years, have been performing in the Woodend Winter Arts Festival - and would have been this coming weekend. Follow them on Facebook for upcoming news and clips of previous concerts! We look forward to the time when the festival will once again be on, and you're back up here in the Macedon Ranges!

10.01.2022 The Macedon Ranges Art Trail were due to host another beautiful exhibition at our 2020 festival. Since we're heading into Winter, and into what would have been festival time, we'll share work from our artists, musicians, authors and performers.
