22.01.2022 This is a one off pen, the fittings were cast specially out of PURE Silver, and have the Wooden Ink Logo on the clip. The body is Banded Malachite, care needs to be taken with the Silver fittings as they are softer than normal. The Nib is an 18K750 gold nib medium point. Contact me for price.

21.01.2022 Did you ever make anything else? Well, yes, Dolls, my wife loves them so I took some classes and made some for the ladies of house. Here are some of them

19.01.2022 Sorry for the interruption of posting, I will be reposting the articles and pens soon. This pen was made as a Memorial Pen for my dear daughter Faith who passed away at 27years of age, leaving 3 little ones and her husband. She is sorely missed, she was like a guiding angel to us, and one that reached out and helped and encouraged us all. The pen body is Alternative Ivory, the words and pictures were Laser engraved leaving an outline, then it was hand painted, and sealed with CA; Some people expressed interest in having a Memorial Pen, due to the labour intensity in making this type of pen, the price is quite high , but the true value is not charged. Any questions please direct them via messenger or via email, [email protected]

19.01.2022 Cebloplast Serpentine closed end pen, the material was used around 1930's on some Shaeffer Pens, some say 1990?! This is not plastic or resin, it is like a cardboard type material, difficult to work with, needs great care in drilling and turning, but makes for a beautiful pen.

17.01.2022 Bird's Eye Huon Pine set. The set was made for a visiting king of a European country, it was up to the giver to choose, they chose something else! So treat yourself like a king, this is an outstanding Pen Set, both RollerBall and Fountain Pen. One of the pens has a natural map of Australia on one end, can you spot it?!

16.01.2022 Conkerberry has a vibrant orange appearance and the heartwood a creamy white colour, the combination of both in one pen, along with some bark, makes the pen come alive, it seems to say, "buy me, buy me!" Conkerberry and Black Palm are two of my favourite timbers. This Rollerball went to the owner of a gallery in Far North Queensland, she had graciusly provided some exceptional timber for me, so it was a "thank you" gift.

12.01.2022 This is he !!!??!!

11.01.2022 Golden Twirl, a miriad of gold flakes captured in a resin cast, a stand out pen of class, suitable for ladies and gents. Shown is a fountain pen, however, Rollerball is available, Ink refills are readily available,

08.01.2022 BLACK SATURDAY 7TH FEBRUARY 2009 The Pen is made from burnt timber from the hill that overlooks Marysville. Black Saturday 173 Black Saturday February 7th 2009... It was stinking hot and the van broke down, Many were too busy to help an old push it out the way. A lady Park Ranger on the way to work, helped push it to safety; then a call out to the TV tower, my presence was required. The highway at Ferntree Gully was cut off by fire, undaunted, hot and bothered, the back way did the trick ; From that lofty lookout in a circle roundabout, smoke billowed from the fires , Kinglake, Strathewen and Marysville all aflame. Once again, one last look before I headed home, little knowing at that exact time the flames were roaring over the hill into Marysville. The sound was as if ten Jumbo jets were all taking off together, frightening and fearsome and death was in the wind; The order went out, leave the town and a convoy of cars jam packed left for Buxton, racing against the flames that followed them. A car broke down around the middle of the convoy, ALL stopped, and they crammed them like sardines into the other cars, then off they went at a racing pace to safety. That Sunday morning we awoke to the tragic news of towns razed to the ground, and many a precious life perished in the flames. How could we help them? It was on everybody’s lips, for me, God sent them to my shop door. R and G had slept the night in their four wheel drive with their dear little dog; they only had the clothes on their backs and they smelt like putrid smoke. We rushed out and all I could grab was the Laptop, it has all our photos on it, we don’t have a charger and we don’t know if it is working?! We have lost everything! But at least we are alive, we know many of those who died. Well that old tech he could not contain his tears, he took their laptop in, escorted the couple and their dog to Coffee Bliss, and there, Sue fed them at no cost. The word quickly spread, and many who knew them not , opened up their hearts and put money in their hand. That tech, he fixed it all, provided a charger and made a back up also, they hugged and cried together, and they went on their way. Lord knows how many times that was repeated all over the land and from overseas, Many hearts opened up, but the tragedy of 173 is a stark reminder, and sad hearts move on from Black Saturday. 06.01.2022 Did you know? Wooden Ink (R) is a Registered Trade Mark Both in Australia and in the USA! A Wooden Ink (R) pen is one made by Wooden Ink (R) that is by myself -Amos- As different from a wooden ink pen which is just a description of the materials that a pen is made from.... SO you may have a wooden pen that uses ink, or you may own a Wooden Ink (R) pen, a pen made exclusively by Wooden Ink (R), which is myself. That is why I put so much effort in making pens of distinction, pens of quality, good better best, I never let it rest, til my good is better and my better best. 06.01.2022 You may have seen Faith's Memorial Pen, this one is Heidi's Last Stick. Heidi our German Shepherd of 12 years, loved sticks, the stick on the chair is the one she carried on a Friday evening on our walk, the next morning, Saturday, we found her passed away in our kitchen area! so sad. The stick she carried was thick enough for me to make 2 memorial pens, and there they are, nothing flash, but a reminder of the wonderful times she would pretend she could not find it in the grass just so she could sniff around a bit longer!
