21.01.2022 Another job completed last week handrails and deck. Came up a treat it was a pleasure being able to go back and complete this one as we built the pergola over a year ago.

21.01.2022 Just a warning to others... So today we started a new job for some very lovely clients. I was contacted by the owner to do a quote for their deck. Now on arrival I knew it was a takeover job from another company that had let them down. The frame was completed but not executed well and then the company did not come back to complete. With further inspection I noticed the stumps were concreted in with RAPID SET. Now this is NOT RECOMMENDED.... it even states it on the bag NON S...TRUCTURAL USE. I have attached a few photos for everyone too see what happens when (inexperience, and un-qualified guys attempt something that they have no knowledge about, or simply have gone to Bunnings and sat through a (how to build a deck in 30min) session. Now RAPID set if used correctly can be used for fence posts, letterbox, clothesline, ect. BUT definitely not for deck posts. As you can see they have simply dug the hole, poured a bag of RAPID SET in and poured water on top. As we started pulling posts out they literally fell out. The top 30mm or so was hardish but the rest was powder. Now if this job was fully completed these lovely clients would of had to pull everything up and start again in a few months, and would cost some mega $$$ We will keep you all updated on this one as it is going to come up a treat Cheers
