14.01.2022 2.30pm on Saturday September 1, 2018 we will be holding a Baked Beans Eating Competition, followed at 3.30pm by a Hot Dog Eating Competition. Drop you name into the barrel near the band to have a go.... 8 contestants in each competition, cash and trophies for the winners. Come along and have a go....
14.01.2022 Judging Forms for this event are now available to all Certified and Financial KCBS Judges. Applications close Friday 17 August 2018, 25 Judges plus 5 Table Captains required. 10 Volunteers also required if not a certified judge. Please be quick or you may miss out.!! 13.01.2022 I currently have 3 Sponsors with a 4th pending, I have allocated Exotic, Pork Ribs and Brisket, I need a further Sponsor for Pork and Chicken, including Sponsor Display Site at De Bortolin the Competition Day, Naming Rights to Category, Logos on Advertising and Trophies, Hand Out of Category Trophies to Winners and Guest Judging Position at a Judging Table for your category, cost is $500.00 for each category, if you are interested, please contact David or Kate on (02) 9749 1444

06.01.2022 We are almost half way with sourcing and securing Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) Certified BBQ Judges for this event on 1 September 2018 in Dixons Creek, Victoria in the Yarra Valley. If you are a KCBS CBJ or if you know someone who is, please have them contact us if they can give their time to judge at this event. 5 turn-ins from 1130 to 1330 inclusive (every 30 minutes) on the day. 02.01.2022 Are you interested in becoming a Certified Judge and spending 3 hours eating some of the best competitive BBQ in Australia, then sign up for the course below. A KCBS Barbecue Judging Course will be held on Friday August 31, 2018 at the Melbourne Bowling Club, 138 Union Street, Windsor Victoria 3181 from 9.00am to 1.00pm inclusive. Registrations from 8.30am. Cost for the course is $150.00 ($157.50 if paid by Credit Card). You will become a Certified Barbecue Judge (CBJ) for both the KCBS and ABBQ in the one course.
