24.01.2022 A wee hello from Scotland to Australia at the end of what should have been the biggest celebration and collective showcase of Scottish music in the country ever. Premiering on New Year’s Eve, we join Ryan Young, Elephant Sessions, HEISK, Rachel Hair : Harp Player & Ron Jappy, and Breabach, as well as a Happy Hogmanay from Cabinet Secretary for Future, Ms Fiona Hyslop MSP in this specially recorded, multi-artist, live-music footage in the countdown to midnight celebrating Hogmanay and the closing of the Year of Scotland Australia 2020. We look forward to seeing our Scottish friends again soon and celebrating in person.

We will be swimming, walking, dancing, painting, singing, listening, playing and making. Not to mention our focus on feasting and good hydration We have two camps arranged, each for five days. (Week One: 19th - 23rd and Week Two: 26th - 30th) Accommodation options include Tent City Hire and Pitch Luxury Camping or you can bring your own. The kids will love hanging with Dirt Girl & Scrap Boy, A Village Called.... making music, nature art and enjoying the open spaces. Spaghetti Junction, Claude's Food and The General Store and Cafe will ensure we all stay satiated, whilst the bars will keep the afternoon aperitifs flowing as we watch the sun go down to the sounds of soulful musicians. 13.01.2022 Which Bushtime at Woodfordia - Summer 2020/2021 camp are you attending?

12.01.2022 We are sad to announce the news that Woodfordia is not proceeding with a Bushtime event at Easter and The Planting festival this year. The current status of covid-19 is still highly fluid and uncertain and the financial risk posed to Woodfordia from further event cancellations due to snap lockdowns is just too great. At this stage, we do not believe it is advisable for Woodfordia to take this risk. In May we will review the status of covid-19 and its impacts on our community ...and reassess the climate for holding events such as Bushtime and indeed the Woodford Folk Festival. We are deeply saddened not to be presenting what would have been our 26th festival of The Planting. This gathering has been the masthead for our environmental actions at Woodfordia and we remain dedicated to honouring our commitments to nurture this land and educate ourselves on a better way of doing things. We are also saddened that in not doing these events, we have not been able to create work opportunities for artists and arts workers. We know many Woodfordians support artists in so many different ways and we encourage you to continue to do this. We want to state our support for the Qld Government, and specifically Qld Health, and their decisions which have kept our communities safe. We understand the need for snap lockdowns and are responding appropriately in the current climate. We will get back to you with more news as it happens.

To cater for as many Woodfordians as possible, we have gone with the below 4 different camps ranging from 3 nights to 6 nights here are the dates: Sat 12 Tues 15 December (4 nights)...
