25.01.2022 Today (and every day!) we are celebrating the wise, loving mother figures in our lives mums, grandmas, aunties, carers and best friends. We often hear about the wisdom of mothers and how they’re always right , so we thought we’d share some of our favourite mum advice: Think good thoughts.... Do what makes you happy. Never miss an opportunity to learn a new skill. Love wholeheartedly and be strong, no matter the circumstances. Anything worth having is worth working for. Lose with dignity and win with pride. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Always put on some lipstick. It’ll make you feel good. What’s the best advice your mum ever gave you? Share in the comments below

18.01.2022 More than 100 years ago, at 11am on 11 November 1918, the guns on the Western Front fell silent after four years of the most brutal war the world had seen. In the four years of that war, more than 330,000 Australians served overseas, and over 60,000 had died. Today, on 11 November we mark that anniversary, and remember all those who sacrificed so much for us all, both in WWI, and all the wars, conflicts and operations that have happened since, and still continue today.... We particularly honour and celebrate those among our residents, and their families, who are veterans of conflicts, and hope that you will join us in paying our respects and express our gratitude for all they have given.
