23.01.2022 Approximately 100 patrons enjoyed a hot and humid night at the Woodhill Hall on Saturday, celebrating the 60th Miss Woodhill competition. Assisting the judging of the contestants was the second Miss Woodhill from 1960, Glenys Beaman (nee McDougall). Joining her was her granddaughter, Elissa Valenzuela, who wore the dress and sash that Glenys was wearing the night she won. The third judge was Beatrice Flesser, sister to one of the previous Chairman and Secretaries of the ...Woodhill Hall Committee. The winners on the competition were: Junior Miss Winner: Chloe Bunn Junior Miss Runner-up: Ronnie Steedman Miss Winner: Tiff Chase Miss Runner-up: Shannon Ferrando Mrs Winner: Lois Muller Mrs Runner-up: Shirley Nelson Saturday nights Miss winner, Tiff Chase, and Glenys Beaman also had the honour of cutting the celebration cake, which was later served with supper. The two Lucky Door tickets were again drawn by the two Miss winners, and were co-incidentally won by the current Mrs winner and runner-up. Very lucky ladies. There were several past winners of the Miss and Mrs Woodhill competitions in the crowd, along with other former residents of Woodhill that returned to enjoy a night of Old Time dancing. The music was provided by the live band The Undecided, who themselves have been playing at the local dances for over 40 years. Many thanks to everyone who donated prizes for the competitions and raffles, your generosity helps to make our local dances a more enjoyable and productive night. **Permission was requested prior to posting photos**

14.01.2022 Congratulations to our winners last night! Winner of Mrs Beaudesert District 2018 is Mrs Pauline Rogers. Runner-up is Mrs Margaret Leach. Judges for the night were Laura Stanford and Heather & David Rogers.

11.01.2022 Woodhill Dance - POSTPONED Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we are POSTPONING our annual Junior Miss, Miss and Mrs Woodhill Dance that was scheduled for Saturday night 11th April. We will advise a new date when a decision is made.

10.01.2022 This Saturday night, February 29th, another local hall will be celebrating their 90th Anniversary. Veresdale Hall are having an Anniversary Dance tomorrow night, starting at 7.30pm. $10 admission includes supper. Music provided by "White Heather".... All welcome to share memories of the past 90 years.
