24.01.2022 Changes to the Biosecurity Regulation 2016 in relation to fire ants are now in force. These amendments provide extra protection for areas that have undergone eradication activities. New mapping has been released under which the biosecurity zones have been reduced from 3 to 2 and new areas have been included. Check your obligations using Biosecurity Qld's new soil movement guideline and the online fire ant compliance advice tool. #biosecurity #fireants
