Dam: Cwmkaren Miss Olwen SOD: Nebo Dyfrig Express (imp) Annie is a 5 year old 14.1hh/14.2hh (approx) reg Welsh D mare with exceptional welsh breeding. Annie has just started her Dressage training, she has been used for mustering and a dolly horse for breaking in. She has been to a local show in hand and behaved beautifully. Annie has no nasty vices she’s a very sweet mare with no buck. She’s easy to trim, clip, float and truck etc. We believe Annie would excel in pony dressage, showing or as a top quality broodmare. She is a lovely moving mare with a trainable nature and a beautiful uphill canter. She is very easy to bring back into work after a spell. Annie is still very green and lacks confidence at times, and is therefore only being offered to a confident rider and experienced home to reach her full potential. Woodlands Rio Danza (Dance) 4 yr old Gelding by IHB Rio De Janiro x Woodlands Kasternette (Jaybee Calibre). Our home bred baby, starting to fill out now. ... Finch Farm California Girl (Callie) 6 yr old Mare by Calgary GNZ x QEB Isabellastella. Callie is just coming back from injury... fingers crossed for this year. Pen-nant Beaujoulais (Beau) 4 yr old Gelding by Machno Rhys(Imp) x Nova (WB). 17.1hh and still growing. Going to be a big boy. Looks like the bay brigade is back!!

22.01.2022 Cwmkaren Halfpenny Express once again did his breed proud at Maryborough this weekend having his first eventing lessons. Cannot fault his temperament and behaviour and showed some great style over the fences. We eagerly await Penn's first foals this year... very exciting!! Thanks to HBPC and FCHT for running the weekend, also Brett Cantle for his great coaching.
19.01.2022 Amber and her competition team have had a successful couple of competitions. Cwmkaren Deri Express, Finch Farm California Girl and Anakie Saint Nick competed at Maryborough a few weeks ago. Deri winning both his Novice tests. Callie, after a couple of tense warm up arena moments, went out to win both her Preliminary tests and Nick placing 2nd in his Advanced test. This weekend we travelled to Caboulture (QSEC) for the Arnage Qld Youth Dressage Championships taking Cwmkare...n Deri Express and Anakie Saint Nick. On Saturday Deri competed in the Novice Pony classes winning both with 70% scores taking out the Champion Novice Pony. Nick won both his Medium Pony tests receiving a 69.487% from one judge, a highlight for Amber, also winning Champion Medium Pony. On Sunday Nick was the only competitor in the Advanced pony classes, so again winning both and Champion Advanced Pony. We would like to thank Anita and her committee for running such a successful event despite the weather requiring a full rethink of the Draw for the competition to go ahead. Betsan’s sire, Nebo Dyfrig Express is also the sire of Cwmkaren Deri Express and Cwmkaren Halfpenny Express, both resident Stallions, and Grandsire of Anakie Saint Nick, currently competing Advanced/PSG Dressage. Betsan is just coming back into work after a short spell. We have started her basic dressage training. Betsan has been used as a dolly pony for breaking in and is exceptionally good with the flag work. Has done a lot of mustering, is a very straight forward pony to ride, always goes where she is asked and is an easy walker and a comfortable pony to muster on. She’s easy to trim, clip, float and truck etc will tie up anywhere. We believe Betsan has great potential in either the pony dressage arena or even eventing as she is confident in the paddock and has a good jump technique. Lovely moving pony with a trainable nature, has a super walk and very active hind leg. Has been easy to bring back into work after spells. However as she is still green and is very forward moving, she is not suitable for a beginner rider. Needs an experienced rider to further her education to reach her full potential. 04.01.2022 Competitions have started for 2019 already. Amber took Nick (Anakie Saint Nick) and Deri (Cwmkaren Deri Express) to Toowoomba for Dressage last weekend. Amber and Nick had their first go at Advanced to win both tests in open competition. Deri got Reserve Champion 4 year old young Pony against some very lovely pony's. Thanks to the Hanoverian group and TDI for running a great weekend.

01.01.2022 Pen-nant Beaujoulais By Machno Rhys (Imp UK) - Welsh cob ... out of Nova -Warmblood. Brandy purchased Beau as a foal from Pen-nant Welsh Stud in South Australia. He arrived here as a weanling after a very long trip up. Beau was lightly backed as a 2 1/2yr old by Amber and then bushed to grow some more. Now he's over 17hh and still growing into his large frame at 3 1/2yrs. He has just started light dressage training with a goal of competing in 4 year old classes next year. The welsh nature shines through with a lovely willing temperament and beautiful paces. Very excited to have Beau as a future competition horse.
