19.01.2022 Here is a picture of our cows grazing the last of our summer pasture before they head to the feedlot in the next few weeks. I really feel for our friends on the east coast suffering from drought and fire We are down about 200 mm on our yearly average rainfall of 750mm but it’s still been a good year in our zone.... While this picture is hard for some who have no grass for their stock I hope you can remember the good years and why you persist. Roy

06.01.2022 A night out with the cattle Don’t know if they are being treated to badly for this time of year. Not many vegans in sight today. I did see a little mangy rabbit. He looked like he could do with a steak

04.01.2022 Winter is kicking along. Rainfall is about 200mm behind average but if we can get some rain through the spring things will be very good. Last round of fertiliser application to start in the next week and the 1000 or so cattle are coming up nicely. All going to plan with the lowering dollar and increased demand for feeder cattle this might go down as a very good year....... Lets see what happens.
