24.01.2022 We are grazing cattle where we grew potatoes this year, they do a great job cleaning up wayward spuds once they learn how tasty they can be, only sometimes you see them choke a little bit on a big old spud. Soon we will have visitors from Malaysia.....imagine that, from a tropical 32 deg, into our lovely winter!

11.01.2022 Today we sent off 200 heifer 'graduates' back to their home. Also we have more visitors from the UK who are very happy to be out of the snow. And now we have the challenge of building up our grass reserves in preparation for the long winter ahead.

08.01.2022 So we thought it was wet.....now it is even wetter!! Have moved all the cattle to higher ground it has been so wet. Our Thai visitors were very sad to leave, the kids had a great time even though they had to enjoy a Tassie winter.

05.01.2022 Well our Thai visitors have settled in and Woody (our jack russell) has some new friends that love to play. The kids are having a great time playing in the mud and patting the horses. They tell me 'they love being cold', after leaving the tropical heat of Thailand. The farm is nice and wet and we have taken on more heifers, just need a little more sun and warmth to get that grass growing.

02.01.2022 Well we are experiencing some real Tassie winter at the moment with rain and cloud. Nice to have the cosy open fire going. The poor calves don't like the weather much, but at least they have nice fresh green grass to chew on.
