25.01.2022 Our cute little Wanda, protector of all comfy surfaces at Woodlea and keeper of the heat treated grape bins as they amass callous and roots for planting. She was so named because she wandered in to Woodlea some 10 years ago, and never left. Always eager for a pat and a bit of your lunch! We couldn't do it without her

02.01.2022 Woodlea Nursery is a seedling production haven nestled amongst beautiful valleys on the Sideling; a picturesque series of luscious, wooded canyons in the foothills of The Sideling Range, 12km from Scottsdale and 45 km from Launceston along the stunning Tasman Highway in North East Tasmania. Woodlea was established in 1978 by Jim Nicholson, to provide seedlings to the forestry industry. Long since in the care of Tony Waites, Woodlea has steadily grown, and currently produces s...eedlings for the forestry industry, landcare and revegetation projects, private farmers and the evergrowing wine industry, as well as providing quality fruit trees, ornamental shrubs, trees, flowers and plants to the general public. Woodlea prides itself on excellence, and aims to supply high quality plants at competitive prices. Woodlea has been recognised within our industry, and awarded the Best Medium Production Nursery from NGIT for the last four years running. Woodlea was the second Tasmanian nursery to be NIASA accredited, and is the only VINA accredited nursery supplying grapevines to Tasmanian vineyards and the public.
