20.01.2022 We love the effect of these beautiful up-cycled Tasmanian oak floorboards from our Barnwood range, they look amazing in this recently renovated home on the Mornington Peninsula. Loving that little barn door too!

20.01.2022 It's time to get warm and cosy in front of the TV. This family had the right idea creating a sliding barn door for their family room to shut out the cold and create a far more cosy Netflix watching experience.

19.01.2022 These beautiful 85x12mm square-edge lining boards are being packed up ready for their new home. They'll be used to create a feature wall in a family room. The couple wanted to add some character to the somewhat plain plaster walls by introducing some natural timber - they loved the unique and natural wood look of Wild and felt the dark gum features would work well with their dark framed windows.

16.01.2022 We generally just post pics of a finished project...in a "ta-da" like manner, but there's a lot going on behind the scenes to get to that point, and a lot of activity involving our partners. I can't tell you how important it is to have a great partner network, partners who are reliable and great at what they do, but partners who are also a pleasure to deal with, and most importantly, partners who you can have a laugh with. 15.01.2022 What's almost as good as a long weekend? That's right...fitting out your office in timber. By fitting out your office in timber you can have the constant feeling of being on a long weekend, every week. Okay , maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but timber has been proven to create happier work environments and happier people, and who doesn't like happier people at work. You don't have to over do it with the timber, in fact the research suggest you don't, but timber desk tops, some timber shelving and an accent wall (like the one in the pic) can shift the mood and create the feeling of an eternal holiday. Oh, and don't forget the plants...if you're looking for some beautiful plants to go with your new timber fit-out, I'd highly recommend Entwined Designs Tasmania

05.01.2022 Timber wall mounted (aka floating) TV cabinets look great, they're functional (i.e. they hide not so pretty stuff), they give the illusion of space...and they make vacuum cleaning a breeze! We love this floating TV unit and were even more impressed that it was a first time woodworking project!
