21.01.2022 Our Pre-Kindy children had another exciting adventure last week with a visit to Coles. We enjoyed a tour through the different departments including the bakery where we saw some bread dough and the machines that mix it, the deli where we got to draw on the glass cabinets and in the fresh produce department we chose a piece of our favourite fruit! It was exciting to see the "top secret" places including where the trucks make their deliveries and the big cold fridge. The children loved meeting the staff and chatting to them about their roles at the store. Thank you to Kelly and all the staff at Coles Forrestfield for having us!

10.01.2022 Today our Kindy children enjoyed a very special visit from some of our local Police Officers. We have been talking about our emergency services over the past few weeks and the officers spoke to the children about stranger danger. The highlight was of course getting to see the police car with its lights and siren!

Our program encourages and supports children to become active learners, socially confident and, most importantly, enjoy their time at Pre-Kindy! Positive early learning experiences set children up for success as they transition into the Education system. Here are some testimonies from present and past parents... My eldest daughter attended the kindy program when she was old enough and my twins are now going this ...year. This has had such an incredible impact on their social and emotional development and my daughters teachers at her primary school were so impressed at how well and quickly she settled into ‘big school’. L.B My son attended Woodlupine Family Centre and did 3 year old kindy in 2019. He was quite shy and reserved to start with and as the first term went on his confidence grew. At that stage he was a big brother to a new born and life was changing both at home and going to kindy so lots of things at once. Sending him to 3 year old kindy was not only great for him but also for myself in having time apart for myself (and my new born) and feeling assured he was learning and having fun. He started 4 year old kindy this year and i knew from even last years induction days for 4 year old kindy that he was excited and confident and had no issues with separation from me. Woodlupine Family Centre made sure they taught him all the skills required to make the transition into "big" school very easy and you could tell from the children that hadn't experienced this as there transition wasn't as tear free. I highly recommend my friends and family to attend Woodlupine Family Centre, the teachers are amazing and the management staff are always friendly and very informative on any questions or concerns you have with children.
