24.01.2022 Co-parenting is different for everyone. While we may have different values to our kids’ other parent, knowing they get double the love, double the diversity, and a life of adventure is certainly a plus we can be proud of. And if the co-parenting thing gets tough, we can always talk it through with others who have been doing it longer, or visit www.oneplace.org.au to find supports nearby. #talkingfamilies #ourvalues #coparenting

06.01.2022 Sometimes when we dont see eye to eye with our kids, we can think weve raised them wrong. But if our kids are sharing their opinions, it shows weve given them a voice. It tells us theyre not afraid to live their views, to stand firm on their beliefs, and impact the world into the future. So, lets give our kids the chance to speak out and find their voice. www.qfcc.qld.gov.au/growingup #talkingfamiliesschool #howourkidsseeit

01.01.2022 Kids don’t need perfect parents. What they really need from us as adults are role models who show them what to do after we make mistakes, when we fail, when we’re sad or tired or grumpy. They need to watch and learn from us while we cope with that tricky stuff, so that when challenges come their way, they’ll know how to how to manage them! #talkingfamilies #parenting #qldparents
