19.01.2022 Real life experiences provide such rich opportunities for learning. Through our bush school program we have the opportunity to spend whole days immersed in nature. We can witness firsthand the way animals behave in their environment, new growth that appears, the way our surroundings change after rain, how the landscape changes through the seasons and the powerful force of mother nature. These wonderful experiences not only shape our understanding but also deepen our connection to nature.

15.01.2022 Our bush school program has proven to have a multitude of benefits on children’s holistic development. Our curriculum fosters engaged learning across an array of domains. A deep respect for the land is formed as we spend whole days immersed in nature, learning about how natural materials can be used to meet our most basic needs. A strong sense of community is achieved as children and educators work closely together and share in meaningful rituals, routines and experiences.

12.01.2022 Given our proximity to the bush and the nature of our bush school program, we understand the importance of minimising and managing risks. Today the children and educators engaged in an interactive snake and spider information session so we could grow our understanding and appreciation. It was fantastic to see the way these creatures react in different situations and learn safety and first aid procedures to help keep us all safe whilst still allowing us to enjoy our natural environment

11.01.2022 Early childhood education is one of the most female dominated industries. We are so proud of our diverse team with our males bringing many skills and qualities which enhance our program. We hope the number of males in early childhood continues to rise.

08.01.2022 We are passionate about nature pedagogy and our bush school program. We are continually trying to upskill ourselves as educators and enhance our program for children. Today we had Jake from Jake Cassar Official visit again as part of an ongoing mentoring program. Today's visit just happened to fall on 'Outdoor classroom day' something we value and implement every day of the year

08.01.2022 The wonderful world of fungi! It is such a seasonal delight to see such a wide variety of fungi growing in our bush land. The vibrant colours, interesting textures and varying shapes and sizes catch our eye as we explore our natural play spaces. They are a fascinating and magical thing to explore. They play such an important role in the ecology of our planet that we feel drawn to protect and admire them. We are also drawn to the magic and mystery of them and often find ourselves checking underneath just in case we spot a fairy...
